I’m wearing a white shirt, the red tie I’d originally bought for the “Louis” costume in Boomer’s Day Off Part 4, and my bowler hat. Oh, and trousers and shoes, obviously. Wish me luck. May 10, 2009 at 9:11 pm #98746 DaveParticipant >and my bowler hat. I’m not entirely convinced you want this job May 10, 2009 at 9:21 pm #98747 siParticipant He doesn’t, but his mate does. They’ll be celebrating him getting it with a can of Pepsi Max later on. May 10, 2009 at 9:27 pm #98750 Ben PaddonParticipant Interview went very well. I was described as “awesome” and “a perfect fit”. I won’t find out until Thursday but I reckon I might just have the job. Saw that ad before Star Trek, what does rigging a job have to do with drinking Pepsi? May 10, 2009 at 9:38 pm #98753 DaveParticipant >I won?t find out until Thursday but I reckon I might just have the job. Best of luck. May 10, 2009 at 9:51 pm #98754 AndrewParticipant > Saw that ad before Star Trek, what does rigging a job have to do with drinking Pepsi? They tried promoting it on the key aspects of acid indigestion and tooth decay but somehow it just wasn’t working. May 10, 2009 at 9:57 pm #98756 JamesTCParticipant So the taste has nothing to do with it? Ok! May 10, 2009 at 10:00 pm #98757 siParticipant I adore Pepsi Max, the only fizzy beverage I drink these days. May 10, 2009 at 10:03 pm #98758 JamesTCParticipant I went for the Tango today, I like Pepsi but I get heart burn from Pepsi Max which is weird since I don’t from anything else, oh Diet Coke too but that tastes like shit too so I don’t drink that. May 11, 2009 at 1:27 am #98762 ChrisMParticipant I don’t drink fizz much, but when I do I tend to go with the citric lemon/limey stuff (sprite, etc.) May 11, 2009 at 9:01 am #98764 AnonymousInactive >”I won?t find out until Thursday but I reckon I might just have the job.” Good luck Ben. I work for an American company and they just luuuuuuuuuuuurve my accent (Mockney). If you still have a Brit accent then the bowler hat was an inspired move. They just love those quirky Brits. May 11, 2009 at 11:17 am #98766 Ben PaddonParticipant I do indeed still have my British accent. It’s hardly dulled at all since I got here. I imagine this will lead to customers wanting to have long, dull conversations with me about where I grew up, what England is like, and all that jazz. May 11, 2009 at 2:05 pm #98771 DaveParticipant They love English jazz. May 13, 2009 at 1:45 am #98809 Ben PaddonParticipant I get heartburn from Pepsi Max too, which is weird because I don’t drink it. May 13, 2009 at 12:12 pm #98816 ChrisMParticipant >I get heartburn from Pepsi Max too, which is weird because I don?t drink it. You do know it’s not meant to be used as a suppository? May 13, 2009 at 10:09 pm #98834 Ben PaddonParticipant Ooooohhhhhh, I see.
