Additionally, I liked the bit where Norman said he was the right age to play Holly now, that they would have to scrap the rest of the cast, and extracted a promise from Danny not to do new dwarf if he wasn’t in it. Makes your hair stand on end. And not the just ones on the back of your neck.

Norman really is a miserable bastard, isn’t he? You know that his jokes about only doing new Dwarf for the money are genuine. Probably not a coincidence that he mentioned the budget in his new message about not being in the specials. I so wish they would get Hattie in to play Holly just to rub his re-set nose in it.

If you mean ‘fruity’ as a signifier of the object, as in ‘sharing the physical qualities of fruit’, yes, to a diminishing degree. If you mean fruity as a sigifier of flavor, then no. When rotted, flavor is Ew.

DO hope Hattie ends up in it. Nose rubbing is probably not necessary though, as much as I am allergic to that sort of attitude in a cast member. That sort of behavir should stay among the fans where it belongs.

With Caprice? Yeah, I remember that. Craig’s brother, Emile was in that, too. I think they went to the dog track to see if he would be recognised underneath the makeup, and some kids went straight up to him and started asking him questions.

When the producer went over to reveal who Craig really was, he asked them, “do you guys know Red Dwarf?” and the lead kid said, “…is it a football team?” :-))
