May 22, 2009 at 5:03 pm #99086 JamesTCParticipant Here – http://www.ganymede.tv/forum/2009/01/plot-hole-in-ouroboros May 22, 2009 at 8:35 pm #99097 ChrisMParticipant >Lister?s parents are himself and Kochanski from the other universe. Okay?so where the fuck did her Lister come from??! The same place as ours. Up until the point Kochanski found Lister’s cat, their universes were the same. The time fork happened at that point. Shush now. May 22, 2009 at 10:24 pm #99100 pfmParticipant Crack a bottle. May 23, 2009 at 8:37 am #99109 Ian SymesKeymaster Let your body waddle. May 23, 2009 at 11:15 am #99115 CarlitoParticipant I noticed a plot hole the other day… in Back In The Red, the crew are not supposed to know about the ship brig, yet in The Inquisitor they intend to throw the ‘erased’ Lister and Kryten in there. Only sayin’. May 23, 2009 at 11:21 am #99116 DaveParticipant They don’t know about Floor 13, but there is another brig/holding cell in Back In The Red as well, which could be the one mentioned in The Inquisitor. May 23, 2009 at 11:26 am #99118 CarlitoParticipant Hmm… but maybe the holding cell was built by the nanobots when they redesigned the ship? And if there’s a brig and a holding cell, why was Lister put in one of the ships only two stasis booths as punishment for bringing a cat aboard when they coulda slung him in a cell and made him actually pay for his wrongdoing? I mean, stasis isn’t really much of a punishment is it? I’m sure most prisoners would rather go into stasis than serve a decade behind bars. Agreed, but there are 400 prisoners and only enough room in the stasis booths for two people (and two suits). May 23, 2009 at 12:47 pm #99121 CarlitoParticipant Exactly, that’s my point. Why put Lister in there? May 23, 2009 at 3:26 pm #99124 Stabbim the SkutterParticipant Just to get him out of their hair for a few months, presumably – they don’t have to pay him, feed him or keep him alive. They probably would, but that wouldn’t leave much room for rehabilitation. Just to get him out of their hair for a few months, presumably – they don?t have to pay him, feed him or keep him alive. That would be my take. Author Replies Viewing 14 replies - 1 through 14 (of 14 total) Scroll to top • Scroll to Recent Forum Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
