We gathered at 1:15 and at 1:16 the war commenced with over a hundred people giving the low cry of ‘ohhh ssshhhiiiiitt’. Immense. Our crazy amateur video footage is on youtube. (The camera seemed to go all over the place at the start. I saw the girl doing the arterial spray. Heh.) I take it that was you in the blue hat (glimpsed on the right). He took an early dive so he could film the remainder. Did you hear the blonde guy to our left get the knife in the head ala Tim? hehe. > I take it that was you in the blue hat (glimpsed on the right). *nods* Indeed. I was most excited. I haven’t watched it yet, but here’s a Guardian TV blog post about the bizarre time it was scheduled. March 22, 2010 at 1:01 am #109132 CarlitoParticipant Hmmm it was okay, but I can’t see much long term potential for a full series with these characters. Julia Davies and Jessica Hynes must see some though if it’s officially a pilot for a series, so what do I know? March 24, 2010 at 9:51 pm #109137 siParticipant I haven’t watched it yet either – only noticed it in the Radio Times a few hours before it was on – but I’m sure with such a stellar cast it can’t’ve been too bad… March 25, 2010 at 12:09 am #109138 Ben PaddonParticipant I watched it the other night. Interesting concept. Started off slow but got very good at around the 15-minute mark. it’s decidedly darker than anything Hynes has done before, mind. Very grim. I’m not sure it would work as an ongoing series, though. Miniseries, maybe. Feature film definitely. I’m very keen to see where the show goes from this point onwards. I can’t help but wonder if the show would have had a better timeslot had it been two prominent male comedians at the helm.
