Has anyone met John DiMaggio at all? He sounds like the coolest guy in the world. I also see Billy West as kind of a legend.

In terms of voice acting, I think Billy West does qualify as a living legend. Ditto Frank Welker, and Tress MacNeille. I’d be more than willing to toss Maurice LaMarche onto that list as well. Futurama really does have a second-to-none voice cast.

… except LaMarche has had a long and prestigious voice career. Sure, his voices tend to sound quite similar, but he is genuinely one of the greatest voice actors of the last couple of decades. His performance here (it’s his voice dubbing Vincent D’Onofrio) is uncanny.

Hmm, having just watched Into The Wild Green Yonder, I’d say that the prospect of carrying on would be like Arrested Development carrying on – it would be great, but it would also mean carrying on from a perfect ending.

Then again, they’ve already carried on from a perfect ending once, so who knows…?
