He sounds like the coolest guy in the world. I also see Billy West as kind of a legend. February 18, 2009 at 6:47 pm #92069 PhilParticipant In terms of voice acting, I think Billy West does qualify as a living legend. Ditto Frank Welker, and Tress MacNeille. I’d be more than willing to toss Maurice LaMarche onto that list as well. Futurama really does have a second-to-none voice cast. Sure, his voices tend to sound quite similar, but he is genuinely one of the greatest voice actors of the last couple of decades. His performance here (it’s his voice dubbing Vincent D’Onofrio) is uncanny. (nb the above assumes you weren’t being sarcastic, of course) February 18, 2009 at 7:58 pm #92077 Mr FlibbleParticipant I think LaMarche is great, I was being kind of sarcastic as I think it’s great that they’re all the same voice but 3 very different characters. February 18, 2009 at 8:31 pm #92081 Seb PatrickKeymaster >supposedly they?re in talks with Fox about doing another season for them Hmm, having just watched Into The Wild Green Yonder, I’d say that the prospect of carrying on would be like Arrested Development carrying on – it would be great, but it would also mean carrying on from a perfect ending. Then again, they’ve already carried on from a perfect ending once, so who knows…? February 18, 2009 at 8:48 pm #92084 Mr FlibbleParticipant I can’t believe everybody’s just ad-libbing… February 18, 2009 at 10:22 pm #92096 Ben PaddonParticipant Take it off or I’ll break it off.
