    Hello there Niki Hutchinson here with my first post for G&T Forum.

    With all this talk about Starbug (as of July 3rd 2016) though I share with you lot this pace done by Peter Tyler back from 1997, I upload the second part, when I get the next Issue.

    Fascinating stuff and great to see some photos I hadn’t come across before. Didn’t realise they’d actually built the separating Starbug as a miniature.

    Amazing!! It must have been so frustrating for them at the time, and a huge shame we didn’t get to see more of work they did for VII (broadcast, at least).

    Are there any actual pics of the separating Starbug model?

    No because that was CGI.

    Actually smug mode cancelled because according to John’s Xtended Revisited article a separating Starbug model was built but never filmed. That would be interesting to see.
