I know we’ll see the grand master list of everyone’s averaged results, but I also thought it would be pretty interesting to see everyone’s individual rankings.

Then I remembered that the only thing anyone really cares about are the highest and lowest placements, so I thought I’d post my top 10 and bottom 10 in the hopes that you would too, and we could all yell at each other and say nasty things. Or just celebrate the fact that we all have opinions. Either way.

Ive been thinking about the middle 41. (As well as the fact that my apostrophe key has died.)

While there is basically only one way to be placed near the top or bottom of the ranking, there are many ways to land in the middle. Consider the following curves:

Mountain: most people rank this episode in the middle, with very few high or low votes.

Plain: this episode is all over the map, with approximately equal numbers of high, middle and low votes.

Valley: most interesting of all, this polarizing episode would not have very many votes in the middle, but many high and low rankings that cancel each other out, placing it in the middle.

It would be really interesting to find out, of the middle episodes, what type of curve they had. I think “Fathers and Suns,” for example, might turn out to be a valley episode based my memory of the reviews.
