Ive already emailed to enquire as to whether we could hire Craig Charles or Chris Barrie although im not sure if they do weddings or how much they charge. Would love to maybe work some quotes into the speeches or the vows if anyone has any ideas? Any other ideas appreciated! x Creator Topic Viewing 25 replies - 1 through 25 (of 25 total) Author Replies September 19, 2010 at 3:03 pm #110736 PetetranterssisterParticipant Also does anyone know if danny john jules is available to hire and where from? if he could sing tongue tied as our first wedding dance song that would be amazing!!! September 19, 2010 at 3:49 pm #110737 JonsmadParticipant Well you could have your honeymoon in a wooden shack and then just when your getting down to it, run out the room at high speed shouting “Change of plan, LEG IT!!!” at the rest of your wedding guests. September 19, 2010 at 4:29 pm #110738 ori-STUDFARMParticipant You should be able to contact DJJ on his official website http://www.dannyjohn-jules.com/ September 19, 2010 at 7:08 pm #110740 redhead85Participant Congrats on your little one! ^__^ I guess you could incorporate Red Dwarf into your table names? After characters/ships/locations? September 19, 2010 at 9:51 pm #110744 hummingbirdParticipant Curry and lager for the wedding breakfast? September 19, 2010 at 10:38 pm #110746 ChrisMParticipant Well you could have your honeymoon in a wooden shack and then just when your getting down to it, run out the room at high speed shouting “Change of plan, LEG IT!!!” at the rest of your wedding guests. Why not go the full hog (so to speak) and have your beloved dress up in a gelf costume? September 20, 2010 at 8:59 am #110750 Seb PatrickKeymaster Walk down the aisle to “Space Walk” (the Blue Danube-esque version of the theme, from Confidence & Paranoia, available as an isolated cue on the series I DVD.) In all seriousness, if you want to use it (or any other of the music cues, either for that purpose or at another point in the wedding) I can hook you up with an MP3. September 20, 2010 at 12:52 pm #110751 PetetranterssisterParticipant OMG danny john jules said he will do it i cant believe it! I do need music, i need the tongue tied track that has the backing vocals of lister and rimmer but doesnt have kats voice in it so danny john jules can sing his own bit EXCITE September 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm #110752 PetetranterssisterParticipant Oh and i love that idea red head, i have 6 tables plus the top table, any ideas for what i should call them then? I could have a food theme maybe, gazpacho soup? ketchup with lobster? September 20, 2010 at 1:01 pm #110753 Seb PatrickKeymaster Excellent stuff. … there isn’t anyone Polish in your family, is there? September 20, 2010 at 1:28 pm #110754 PetetranterssisterParticipant my fiance is a quarter polish September 20, 2010 at 5:46 pm #110755 redhead85Participant Wow – very impressed you got DJJ to say yes – good stuff! Dunno – perhaps name them after your favourite episodes? Like ‘Thanks for the Memory’ for old friends and ‘Quarantine’ for the people you don’t like hehehe September 20, 2010 at 5:59 pm #110756 hummingbirdParticipant Good old Danny. September 20, 2010 at 8:31 pm #110757 PetetranterssisterParticipant Why are you surprised Red? Does he not usually agree to appearances?. Lol i’ll put all my other half’s family in “Quarantine” lol. I’m just hoping his fee doesn’t cripple me!. September 20, 2010 at 9:29 pm #110758 redhead85Participant I just think it’s a really nice thing of him to do but yes, I would be worried about his fee – I’d have probably had to have sold a kidney to get him to appear at ours haha September 20, 2010 at 10:19 pm #110759 DanodinParticipant > I’m just hoping his fee doesn’t cripple me!. I doubt it will, he’s a pretty reasonable date (won’t say cheap lol). Depends on how much you’re willing to give! :P September 23, 2010 at 5:43 pm #110769 JoParticipant My Mum walked down the aisle to the original opening theme and walked out to the Elvis theme :oP September 23, 2010 at 8:57 pm #110770 Seb PatrickKeymaster I will never cease to be impressed by that. September 23, 2010 at 11:42 pm #110771 Danny StephensonKeymaster I’m beginning to be amazed by that, having not known that before. That’s a fair bit epic isn’t it? September 24, 2010 at 5:05 am #110772 cliffParticipant How about tongue tied as the first dance? September 24, 2010 at 9:22 pm #110775 JoParticipant My Mum = Awesome :o) September 25, 2010 at 1:35 pm #110779 Smeg4BrainsParticipant If you’re wanting Dwarf related food names for tables there’s Alphabetey Spaghetti, Sugar Puff Sandwich. Can’t really think of any others. Vindaloo I suppose…..maybe Bouncing Dumplings? September 25, 2010 at 4:23 pm #110780 ori-STUDFARMParticipant Bridget is a good dwarf name……not really relevant though is it? September 25, 2010 at 6:46 pm #110782 Smeg4BrainsParticipant > Bridget is a good dwarf name……not really relevant though is it? Bridget the Midget? September 25, 2010 at 8:09 pm #110783 ori-STUDFARMParticipant Thats her….great actress. Shame about the face!
