He’s turned into Brannigan, the ship’s psychiatrist.

Ah, my dying thread was saved. Cacky can die happy. Merry Christmas everyone and all the best for the New Year!

    * Hopefully this time next year we will be ‘unable’ to discuss anything about the recordings of XI!

** And remember never eat runny brown snow! Unless you want to pour it on a McDonald’s because it would probably make it taste better!

I dearly wish the ship’s psychiatrist in VIII had been Brannigan. It would have made that stupid is-the-chair-nailed-down scene slightly more entertaining.

Weeeellllll you say the shuttle was late you say, the shuttle was late.

EDIT: Literally just realised what the fuck’s been going on in this thread.

    Carry on, Gentlemen.

And he should be played by Peter Ridsdale-Scott :)

I had a telephone conversation with Peter Ridsdale-Scott a couple of years ago, and he sounds literally nothing like Brannigan.

He’s excellent in the Launching Red Dwarf documentary on the series I DVD, but no, not at all like Brannigan.

He actually sounds exactly like Brannigan. Chris was just having real trouble nailing that impression.
