Ah! That’s a useful bit of info. Thanks, John. For me at least it makes the idea of dipping a novice toe into iTunes for the sake of having the RD radio plays a more likely prospect. :)

And no, I’m not making a comment about liking iTunes/Apple/etc. or not. Just like eBay, it’s thanks to my interest in RD that I may start using the iTunes site too.

I’ve already posted my best wishes for you over at TOS webboard, Andrew, so what everyone’s said here basically. :) By the way, I hope you have the option to put a link to your own website on the TOS links pages?

After reading Steve’s comments above, I’m now also wondering somewhat more about the future…

What’s creepy to me is that her face is real but her eyelids are drawn graphics. And her eyeballs are just a bit too unnaturally red. *shudders*

I’ve been watching Craig Ferguson’s show for quite a while now. I’d have to say it’s about the best late night American programing on any of their big networks. It’s generally comparatively cutting edge and often walks the fine line of being censored. About the only comparable show is probably The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

For the 5th anniversary of 9/11 Craig completely put aside the usual joking and did a serious monologue and interviews with several excellent guests. I don’t know how many people follow Robert Llewellyn on You Tube? In one of his recent vids he mentioned how much he likes to watch Craig Ferguson on You Tube. 8-)

    > I?m pretty sure if it was a good script it would have received funding by now.

Based on what I’ve heard of the film, TV and publishing industries, that logic doesn’t hold. :) Excellent screenplays, teleplays and manuscripts may languish for a long time, while crap movies and shows get funding and “pulp” fiction is mass-produced. The people with the money generally want to copy the financial successes of what has been done before, so original ideas are much harder to sell.

Karl, the forums are the “BBS” link at the top of the page. It is a bit confusing to have different names for it.

    Happy bday, Chris!

    > Anyway, the Wikipedia page said today was his birthday.

So does IMdB and other sources, so I think we can trust it on that at least! :)

OT: Now, if only Chris would update his website…
