“Can't anyone from the OD/G&T crowd actually write a single paragraph on those sites without mentioning a single offensive profanity?!” - Liam, Official Webboard

Ex-Camera 5, Good Luck at the Job Centre, My Darling

This is ridiculously off-topic, so I’m sorry - but I just can’t resist this. Watching The Eurovision Dance Contest the other night, I was reminded of this clip - a section of the talkback from the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest. (A warning for the swearing is probably superfluous on this site.)

The Dwarf link, of course, is that Chris Barrie plays a very similar character in Filthy, Rich & Catflap. Only this is for real. Scary to know that there were people who were actually like this.

Apparently, it’s used as part of a BBC internal training course, as an example of how not to react when things start going wrong…

Good advice for life in general, I think; start getting angry and everything becomes confused.

When I get angry I find that I become more and more right.
