Hooray! Last night, at the British Academy Television Craft Awards at The Dorchester Hotel in London (not as posh as the Moat House, but no doubt he coped), Mike Tucker, along with Red Vision and Gareth Edwards, won the Visual Effects BAFTA for their work on Hiroshima. Congratulations to Mike and the rest of the Model Unit crew. For more details, see their site – that was quick, guys. Erm, and so was the splash screen.

For the rest of the winners, see the BAFTA site. A pity the craft awards aren’t as well known as the “main” awards – the work is just as impressive, after all. I’ll spare you the rant, though.
