I was flicking through this week’s Radio Times, and spotted something *very* interesting in the radio pages.

There’s a little piece each week entitled ‘The Face Behind The Voice’, which is sometimes very good, sometimes fucking pointless (it was Ruth Jones the other week, for God’s sake). This week, it’s one Brian Murphy, who works on Christian O’Connell’s show on Absolute Radio.
However, he changed his name by deed poll last year, and invited listeners to suggest a new name.
The name they decided upon? Blaize Falconburger…

Not if I can help it, I’m more of a Radio 4 chap myself, plus Radio 2 but only for Jonathan Ross.

On the subject of recent mentions of Dwarf in the media, during the teaser for next week’s ep of ‘The Hottest Place on Earth’ on BBC 1, just as one of the geologists is lowered into an active volcano, he says ‘smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast’… :-))

I listen to Radio 2 – Wogan (if I’m up), Ken Bruce, occasionally Steve Wright, Chris Evans, and Radcliffe and Maconie during the week. There’s Jonathan Ross and the comedy hour on a saturday. And then I’ll try and catch some of the comedy on Radio 4 (Count Arthur Strong etc).
