We’ve had an e-mail from a listener who spoke to DJJ at a recent convention. He says he is attending a UKTV “get together” tomorrow night along with the other RD staff members where it is hoped the final decision will be made/announced internally.

Nothing concrete, but if true, lets hope it all goes well!!

Coolest thing about the tram crash was that it used CGI running at video-look 50Hz. This is extremely rare, if you think about it, and looked really good IMO. Obviously Dwarf used CGI but I don’t think any of the ship shots were video-look. Some of the other effects shots were. I bet The Mill have hardly ever had to pull off that kind of shot.

It was the Dave Xmas party last night so I assume that’ll be the get together mentioned in the email. I highly doubt any decisions more important than “shall we have another drink?” Would have been discussed!

Wow, Doug replied to my question, I feel so special and unique!! Is that confirmation that the movie isn’t dead and buried just yet?? Hope so. I think we would all rather have the movie itself than just a scriptbook!
