Oddly, despite speaking of Rimmer’s uncle Frank’s daughters, the word cousin is never used in all of Red Dwarf.

Less surprising is the absence of niece and nephew. More bizarre is no reference to grandfather or grandpa.

There is Auntie Maggie’s birthday, but otherwise it’s haunt, taunt, jaunt, but mostly gauntlet.

Young Lister does call older Lister granddad, which funnily enough is correct. That one detail saves Ouroboros.
