Nothing THAT new that you won’t of heard before, but Dan Clark really did go for detail. Impressed. Doug? hello? October 7, 2016 at 7:45 pm #216916 Pete Part ThreeParticipant And whose appendix was that in Legion? Because it certainly wasn’t Lister’s. Ah, kill me. October 7, 2016 at 7:51 pm #216917 JamesTCParticipant Who’s eating this chicken? October 7, 2016 at 7:59 pm #216918 Ben PaddonParticipant If it really needs explaining how a medical droid with a penchant for organ harvesting and DNA resequencing could have obtained another set of kidneys then, y’know, maybe you need to watch something a little bit more your speed. I’m very very positive things about the Teletubbies revival. October 7, 2016 at 8:09 pm #216921 JamesTCParticipant Fuck that. That baby in the sun is so creepy she is like Asclepius… on acid. October 7, 2016 at 8:22 pm #216924 Dax101Participant Well apparently many expected it to be explained which is why all this confusion started in the first place. i was expecting Doug to give his explanation in that interview but he just said they were not listers kidneys.. well we could have guessed that doug but that leaves the question of what were they doing there then. October 7, 2016 at 11:02 pm #216935 Ben PaddonParticipant No it doesn’t. October 7, 2016 at 11:14 pm #216938 Dax101Participant Well you are still gonna see alot of people still asking. Its likely oddly enough in an interview Doug did a few weeks ago he for some odd reason seems surprised by the fact people still wanna know what happened after Series 8 thinking that the joke in the beginning was gonna stop people asking but no this is a show where people likely prefer continuity and consistency believe it or not October 7, 2016 at 11:24 pm #216939 JamesTCParticipant >Well you are still gonna see alot of people still asking. Fuck them. October 7, 2016 at 11:39 pm #216943 siParticipant Odd thing, but the way Doug pronounces “Red Dwarf” annoys me. It’s the same on We’re Smegged. Is it just me? October 7, 2016 at 11:45 pm #216947 (deleted)Participant He says it the same way Americans pronounce “Robin Hood”, emphasising the wrong half. Like Red is just one of many Dwarves he is involved with. Mind you, if we get any more episodes like Officer Rimmer he can say it however he likes. October 7, 2016 at 11:49 pm #216949 JawscvmcdiaParticipant The moment when Rob Grant tells Robert Llewellyn that he can’t watch any Red Dwarf after Series 6 (Doug Dwarf): October 8, 2016 at 12:00 am #216955 clemParticipant Very interesting to hear Doug say BTE “wasn’t Red Dwarf – it was our ticket to get back into the game.” October 8, 2016 at 12:06 am #216957 siParticipant Just finished listening. My skin is still crawling from that version of the theme. *shudder* October 8, 2016 at 12:40 am #216959 JoParticipant Explaining whose kidneys were in the jar was unnecessary, they weren’t Lister’s, that’s all we need to know and most of us had figured that out anyway. I’m baffled by those complaining about how things need to be explained more this series, and yet when they do explain various situations fully, people generally agree that it’s unnecessary and tedious. Do you really need everything spoon fed? Do we really need another VIII? #Giantfannycake October 8, 2016 at 1:23 am #216960 Dax101Participant Series VIII was us being spoon fed?
