Hey, no, don’t do yourself down like that! It was mildly amusing – and even if not everyone finds it so, the play on words in your joke is obvious. It’s a joke we easily get, whether everyone finds it funny or not. (Which I did.) Spitonherwrist is beyond terrible, beyond any redemption – bad jokes are either groanworthy or at least the meaning of them is clear even if they’re not funny. Spitonherwrist is none of those. It doesn’t even qualify as a ‘gag’ in the bodily function sense as the meaning is so obscured by it being SUCH A TERRIBLE ‘JOKE’ that we’re left confused rather than disgusted. I literally can’t think of a worse ‘joke’. Even ‘why did the chicken cross the road? Fish’ is a better joke, because the attempted humour is in the surprise of an unexpected non sequitur.
