Cuts off a bit abruptly, doesn’t it?

He doesn’t seem too keen on Doctor Who… I think I read a transcript of a webchat he did a couple of years ago in which he said he hadn’t been too impressed by the revived Who, but had enjoyed Torchwood, particularly the early first series episode with the children and evil fairies. I’m not surprised; I got a very Lords and Ladies vibe from that episode.

You’d like to think Terry was referring to how trying to go backwards for VIII was a bad idea and didn’t work, which is essentially true. BtE was the right move, as indeed the Movie would have been, further development of Red Dwarf. Evolution not revolution… Radiohead are quite good at that.
