I did a GCSE English Lit essay comparing Last Human to Backwards and got a B.

My Media A-level included a Red Dwarf show analysis AND a Dwarf comic strip. Eng Lang A-level included a breakdown of the language use in Marooned. And degree included a research project into Red Dwarf fandom.

I’m never going to be qualified for anything else. Bollocks.

Oh, yes. My degree included an analysis of Back To Reality, a study of how Red Dwarf conforms to its various genres and an essay exploring social satire in Hitchhikers. I achieved my best ever mark with a presentation comparing An Unearthly Child to Rose.

I don’t think my school would have allowed essays (etc) on Red Dwarf. One guy in my English Lit A level wanted to write on Stephen King literature and he wasn’t allowed cos it wasn’t considered worthy.
