Well, it’s now available, just in time for holiday shopping! Full details, including a downloadable sample and information on where to order, are available at our website at http://hassleinbooks.com/pages/book_bttfLexicon.php /marketingwhore Creator Topic Viewing 13 replies - 1 through 13 (of 13 total) Author Replies November 22, 2012 at 11:30 am #204412 Smeg4BrainsParticipant That front cover is beautiful. November 22, 2012 at 11:32 am #204413 Ian SymesKeymaster That looks damned good. I think I’ll be grabbing one post-payday. November 22, 2012 at 11:34 am #204415 KarnieParticipant Thanks! That, plus all the interior sketches, where done by our extremely talented illustrator Pat Carbajal: http://patart-pat.blogspot.com. He did most of our covers, including the one for our upcoming Back to the Future Timeline. November 22, 2012 at 11:40 am #204416 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Will he be doing the Red Dwarf cover too? November 22, 2012 at 11:47 am #204417 Seb PatrickKeymaster Ooof, it’s not cheap. But I’ve stuck it on the Amazon wishlist. Nice to see it’s readily available on the UK site without having to faff around with ordering from the States, too – presumably this will bode well for your RD book… November 22, 2012 at 1:43 pm #204420 Danny StephensonKeymaster Tha looks nice…. November 22, 2012 at 1:45 pm #204421 anniescribeParticipant WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS A 15-YEAR-OLD FANGIRL IN LOVE WITH ALL THINGS BTTF? I may need to purchase this into my life even now. November 22, 2012 at 2:25 pm #204425 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Kinda don’t want to break this to you but I spotted a mistake in the PDF preview. It says Marty’s grandfather is the “mother of his mother”. Apart from that it looks really good. November 22, 2012 at 3:07 pm #204429 Ben KirkhamParticipant Thanks, that looks great! Think I’ll treat myself to a copy for Christmas. November 22, 2012 at 4:26 pm #204434 Pete Part ThreeParticipant >WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS A 15-YEAR-OLD FANGIRL IN LOVE WITH ALL THINGS BTTF? In my heart, I still am a 15 year-old fangirl in love with all things BTTF. November 22, 2012 at 5:27 pm #204435 KarnieParticipant Thanks all! Jason: heh heh… well, there’s bound to be a few errors in a book this size, it’s unfortunate one of them is in the preview.. =) As far as the Red Dwarf cover goes, Pat won’t be doing that one because I absolutely can’t have anything identifiable on the cover as being specifically from Red Dwarf, as the book is unauthorized. We got away with it on the BttF book because we have the support of the official BttF website, so we could bend the rules a little; but for the RD book, I don’t want to take any chances with the cover, so the cover you see on our website is the final design. It’s a shame, because we did have him do a preliminary rough sketch of something back before I decided on a generic cover; but we felt it was still too identifiable. November 22, 2012 at 6:09 pm #204438 Danny StephensonKeymaster When we did the Garbage Pod book. we had a similar issue, we didn’t wanna ruffle any feathers, thats why everything is either a recreation, or an allusion to an existing Red Dwarf based item… November 22, 2012 at 7:24 pm #204444 Ben PaddonParticipant I’ve added this book to my Amazon Wishlist. I’ll pick it up m’self when I have disposable income again.
