June 8, 2008 at 4:00 pm #81084 TheLeenParticipant Ta :) Was fun to do. Here’s the other image (I don’t know, MySpace does something to links so they don’t work.) It is indeed very spacy on the inside! June 8, 2008 at 4:07 pm #81085 AndrewParticipant Is…is that your front door?! Cos that’s AWESOME! June 8, 2008 at 4:17 pm #81086 Jonathan CappsKeymaster WE LOVE YOU, MARLEEN. June 8, 2008 at 4:34 pm #81087 Seb PatrickKeymaster That is completely brilliant. I did something similar to our kitchen door in Oxford for a party we had when series two premiered, and then moved it to my bedroom door in the House of Dwarf in Ealing… but it was shit. What did you make the POLICE BOX sign out of, and where did you get the white sign? June 8, 2008 at 5:16 pm #81088 AndrewParticipant For several Christmases on the trot I would cover my bedroom door in wrapping paper and a big bow, creating the impression of an enormous doorway-blocking gift. Which is sort of like this, only RUBBISH. June 8, 2008 at 5:28 pm #81089 TheLeenParticipant > What did you make the POLICE BOX sign out of, and where did you get the white sign? Black wrapping paper, and cut-out letters made from normal paper. And the sign: from the printer. And the alarm thingy: that was actually a plastic box formerly hosting some cream cheese. And the windows are made from see-through wrapping material, they looked really good, but it doesn’t show on the photos… I posted more pics of the here, though. > For several Christmases on the trot I would cover my bedroom door in wrapping paper and a big bow, creating the impression of an enormous doorway-blocking gift. Which is sort of like this, only RUBBISH. That is a very very cute idea. Hey, I used gift wrapping paper, too! June 8, 2008 at 7:01 pm #81090 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Is that you peeking out? June 8, 2008 at 7:14 pm #81091 Seb PatrickKeymaster No, it’s a chicken. June 8, 2008 at 7:40 pm #81095 Ian SymesKeymaster That is incredible. The sign on the door is so spot-on. Well done! June 8, 2008 at 11:28 pm #81112 DaveParticipant 4D in 2D. I love it, you and your postman’s reaction June 9, 2008 at 11:55 pm #81126 Ben PaddonParticipant Incredible. I tend to ask people to marry me with alarming regularity on the Internet, but I think I have no choice but to ask Marleen on this occasion. It’s mandatory. June 10, 2008 at 12:47 am #81131 AndrewParticipant > 4D in 2D. I always pegged Marleen around a 34D. June 10, 2008 at 6:27 am #81140 TheLeenParticipant Haha! If I’d tell you, I’d scare you to death. (German size charts are so much fun.) Thanks for your replies. You’re amazing, all of you. :-* June 10, 2008 at 7:22 am #81141 Arlene Rimmer BSc SScParticipant I know I haven’t replied yet, but that’s only because I was dead from envy for the last day or two. (It’s okay. I got better.) You know what you need now, right? A sonic screwdriver. June 10, 2008 at 9:05 am #81143 AndrewParticipant “I’d give her a sonic screwdriver.” Etc. June 10, 2008 at 12:58 pm #81149 TheLeenParticipant You like my front door, check out this guy’s gaming console: Making of… : Part 1, Part 2 … wow. Just wow. June 10, 2008 at 9:57 pm #81157 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Your door is cool…….but THAT is just sad. June 11, 2008 at 8:12 am #81171 TheLeenParticipant Nah, it’s brilliant. There’s a whole forum community of TARDIS-builders and their weird projects out there. O_O June 11, 2008 at 8:14 am #81172 DaveParticipant I like the one on the left June 11, 2008 at 8:47 pm #81212 Smeg4BrainsParticipant > I like the one on the left Thats what it looks like when you walk inside the one on the right. June 12, 2008 at 8:33 am #81227 ChrisMParticipant >Is that you peeking out? >No, it?s a chicken. Maybe he didn’t recognize her in her non-holographic form. Very good by the way Marleen. June 12, 2008 at 9:28 am #81231 DaveParticipant > I like the one on the left I meant Marleen’s. I like her right one too. June 12, 2008 at 10:19 am #81234 TheLeenParticipant > Maybe he didn?t recognize her in her non-holographic form. The H is even better than Clark Kent’s glasses. June 12, 2008 at 7:10 pm #81259 Smeg4BrainsParticipant Honestly….that doesn’t look like the same person. June 12, 2008 at 9:22 pm #81274 TheLeenParticipant The difference is four years of my life! June 12, 2008 at 10:56 pm #81286 DaveParticipant That’s time travel for you June 13, 2008 at 2:01 am #81294 ChrisMParticipant She hasn’t changed that much. Cheeks a bit rounder now (in a good way. Not that she looks bad before.) June 13, 2008 at 2:37 am #81296 PhilParticipant I’d like to compare relevant pictures of her rear end. June 13, 2008 at 4:31 am #81298 ChrisMParticipant Heh. I did write a booty comment adding “the cheeks on your face I mean” after the round cheeks comment, but deleted it just in case it would be deemed offensive (although I mean’t it playfully of course). It’s not a bad thing after all. The bigger the booty, the larger the pattercake (or is it pattycake?), so to speak. (I’m referring to that old nursery rhyme ” Pattercake, pattercake baker’s man, bake me a cake as fast as you can…etc. June 13, 2008 at 5:45 am #81299 TheLeenParticipant Well, everything’s “a bit rounder” now. That’s certainly a good thing… in *some* places. Not so much in the rest of places. Blah. June 13, 2008 at 10:00 am #81309 Ian SymesKeymaster Chris M – the world’s most single man. June 13, 2008 at 11:40 am #81311 Jonathan CappsKeymaster > Chris M – the world?s most single man. I must be slipping. June 13, 2008 at 11:44 am #81312 ChrisMParticipant I think it would be good to emphasize the similarity between the two forms though. I.e. this man looks like a robot, whilst the robots featuring in the tale, look human. *Bows* Thankyaw! Thankyaw! Starting to feel the strain it’s true. I was never confused but those hippy locks could really turn a guy’s head… Author Replies Viewing 34 replies - 1 through 34 (of 34 total) Scroll to top • Scroll to Recent Forum Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
