More Norman gigs News Posted by Jonathan Capps on 30th April 2007, 12:26 Norman’s recent stand-up activity is moving up a gear with the announcement of loads of Autumn dates. We’ve already reported on Norman’s appearance at The Eagles, and on top of that he’ll be attended a couple of comedy festivals in the run up to The Fringe in Edinburgh: Bristol – Eagle Awards (Presenting) Saturday 12th May Dorchester Comedy Festival Friday 25th May – Stand-Up Buxton Fringe Festival Friday 6th July – Stand-Up Sat 7th July – Slide Show Sun 8th July – Slide Show Mon 9th – Slide Show Bedford Fringe Tues 17th July – Slide Show Edinburgh Fringe Festival – Slide Show – The Pleasance 5th – 27th August 5pm After that, though, the Autumn tour begins. Here’s the list of currently confirmed dates, but according to the site there are more to come! Northampton – Roadmender Weds 5th September Norwich Arts Centre Tues 11th September Redhill – Harlequin Theatre Friday 14th September High Wycombe – Harlequin Theatre Saturday 15th September Worcester – Swan Theatre Thursday 20th September Derby – Assembly Rooms Friday 21st September Luxemburg Monday – 24th September Brighton – Komedia Wednesday 26th September Bridgewater – Arts Centre Friday 28th September Leeds – Venue TBC Sunday 30th September York – Other Side Comedy Club Monday 1st October Billingham – Forum Theatre Tues – 2nd October Sheffield – Memorial Hall Wednesday 3rd October Crewe – Dane Bank Theatre Friday 5th October Bradford – Alhambra Studio Tuesday 9th October Manchester – XS Malarkey (Part of Comedy Festival) Thurs 18th October Epsom – Playhouse Thursday 25th October Bowness – Old Laundry Theatre Friday 26th October Selby – Town Hall Centre Saturday 27th October He’s touring with guest Andrew O’Neil and it seems to be based around his ‘Slideshow’ act that has been seen at the last two Dimension Jumps. If you’ve not seen him perform this, then I highly recommend attending one of those dates, as it’s a thoughoughly enjoyable set. I’m tempted to go along myself, just to see if there’s been many additions or modifications since last September.
Amazing! He’s coming to my home city and a few quite close as well. The York comedy club is quite small. He should fill it easily.
