Bags & Biscuits Released News Posted by John Hoare on 4th September 2007, 19:55 *flips calendar* Yay! Body/Swap! The best one. Anyway, as mentioned by Dave (not that one) in our forums, Norm’s stand-up DVD Bags & Biscuits is now available. Just send a £15 cheque to the address on his website – and he’ll even sign it for you if you want. We’re told again that there are extras, but sadly there’s no mention as to what they are. Surely this would be good information to give, to increase interest and sales? Anyway, we hope to have a review for you at some point – although it’s worth pointing out that our success rate in that area is about 23%. There’s also a new, full list of tour dates up on his site as well. Sadly, there’s no further update as to the status of I, Lovett – indeed, as there’s very irritatingly no old news archive on Norm’s site (surely you shouldn’t have to rely on us for an archive of Norm news?), there’s now no record of it at all on the site. Hmmm…

I’ve got the DVD. I watched it last night. As far as I can tell the special features are a commentary. I shall be watching it again with the commentary turned on as soon as I get chance, then I will be reviewing it properly (or as properly as I can, I’m not no journalist). Basically the DVD is funny, there are some great gags. I’ve never seen anyone using apple skin as a skipping rope! I was amazed :) I don’t really want to give any gags or punchlines away in my review – any tips on how I would go about writing it?
> I?ve got the DVD. I watched it last night. As far as I can tell the special features are a commentary You missed the extra interview/insight piece about Norman and his ‘collection of stuff’?! > any tips on how I would go about writing it? I’d definitely start with seeing all the content. :-)
I’ve only got the DVD that evening and only spent my time watching the main bit. Not had time to have a proper look though. I missed the interview thing, I’ll check it out.
