Main – Lamb chops, mildly spiced with crushed garlic, rosemary and a tiny hint of chilli, Mashed potato with home made beef gravy, home grown broad beans, steamed carrot and peas (not mushy or minted, although being munted helps with both those options )

Desert – Banana split – fresh bowen bananas, home made extra creamy vanilla ice cream, with crushed walnuts, grated chocolate sprinkled over lightly, a light chocolate sauce, chocolate freze sauce spread lightly over the top. and a candied cherry to finish (cherry on top of chocolate freeze sauce so people who do not like them can remove without it affecting the flavour of the rest)

Beverages by choice

Then retire into living room with

Iced Chocolate (just above brain freeze temp) with home made sweetened whip cream and, again, home made extra creamy vanilla ice cream

That is what I cook up when trying to impress a date anyway, If she is vegetarian then entree is tossed garden salad and main loses the chops in favour of whatever good fresh vegies i can get at market.

if she is full Vegan then we are in serious fight within ten minutes so never gets far enough for me to invite for home cooked meal
