Slightly annoying that the set will have 33 discs, but they’re still putting one of them in a cardboard sleeve instead of a dedicated disc slot. That was the most annoying aspect of the Series I-VIII Blu-ray set packaging already.

Also, the news update says “the Red Dwarf Audible Collection Series I-VIII“? None of the listings call it that, it makes it sound like it’s all one release instead of two, and it isn’t even exclusive to Audible. (Plus the link goes to Amazon instead of Audible itself – an important distinction in my opinion).

The past two days of Twitter have been rather enjoyable honestly, it’s still a cesspool of hate and pedantry but it is still funny sometimes. Nobody on Bluesky is funny and nobody uses any of the other ones.

I haven’t used XformerlyknownasTwitter regularly for quite a while (and even then I wasn’t a big user of it), but when I fell away from it I felt that it had become borderline unusable – tons of crap from paid accounts that drowned out stuff from people you might actually want to hear from, and loads of unpleasant rightwing propaganda presumably being pushed by Musk deliberately.

I don’t miss it, and on the rare occasions I do have to hop back on, I remember why I left.
