Chris Barrie Interview in the Metro (main story in Metro Life this Morning) Nothing new, but we did get the “BBC is not interested in this type of Audience” quote. http://www.metro.co.uk/metrolife/article.html?A_big_moment_for_Dwarf&in_article_id=605677&in_page_id=9&in_a_source= A small technical article on post production. http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/2009/04/evolutions_speeds_up_red_dwarf_post.html And a very nice article on The Times website, with a nice bit about the so called duke, and the financing of the movie. http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article5988074.ece Nothing much new revealed plotwise though. Is it in the actual paper? What page? April 2, 2009 at 3:16 pm #94936 Danny StephensonKeymaster The Times Article was written by Bruce Dessau, who I think did the Red Dwarf Companion Guide (?). April 2, 2009 at 3:22 pm #94938 Danny StephensonKeymaster ?I talked to someone from Microsoft recently who said that one of the first TV-based user groups was Red Dwarf. That’s a nice little factoid. April 2, 2009 at 6:11 pm #94956 pfmParticipant contains more than 240 visual effects shots. Coolness. The Phantom Menace only had 700 or so (though Episodes 2 & 3 had more like 2,000 each, I think…please someone correct me because I know that’s wrong) April 2, 2009 at 6:15 pm #94957 DaffParticipant It was definitely in the paper version this morning, just before the middle, first page of Metro Life IIRC. It was 2 pages as well (well 1 page worth but split over the middle) Looks like it’s not in the e-version, might be because I don’t read the London version. I think the article was where the clubbing bit is in the e-version. That actually explains why I couldn’t find it on the website first thing this morning, whereas most of the other articles where available. April 3, 2009 at 5:34 am #94978 DaffParticipant More stuff. We’ve already got Carbug, Is there going to be a StarBus as well? Julian Ryder is playing a bus driver. And what is with Kryten’s outfit? http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2009/April/1-5/dd/?R=EPI-107323 April 3, 2009 at 6:15 am #94979 hummingbirdParticipant While perusing the Sci-fi London site I stumbled upon this interview with Craig http://www.sci-fi-london.com/news/article/1238365483/6/craig-charles Nothing new here, but nice to see word getting around. April 3, 2009 at 7:18 am #94981 siParticipant >And what is with Kryten?s outfit? LOL! Loving Kryten’s disguise! Incidentally, when I was at uni, we made a short film which was shown at Sci-fi London, one of only two occasions I’ve been to the capital. We didn’t win a big prize, though I blag a DVD of a dodgy Japanese monster movie.
