But his attitude did annoy me – he’s effectively famous because of the show and now refuses to acknowledge it. Yet on his profile, he terms himself as ‘Stand-Up Comedian – Actor – Red Dwarf Computer – Moaning Old Git’. So I replied saying: “Perhaps remove refs to Red Dwarf on your profile then? So people don’t talk about things you’re not willing to discuss?” He hasn’t replied. Yet. He doesn’t want to be known just for Dwarf and feels he was mistreated by GNP blah blah blah… Obviousley, if there’s a tenner in it for a signed ‘Holly’ photo or if it helps sell a book or a show then principles go out of the window.. Before long I’ll be telling the ‘legit’ story… September 29, 2010 at 6:29 pm #110794 hummingbirdParticipant > “I’m not on twitter to talk about Red Dwarf” I saw that too. I can’t decide whether it’s to fend off the RD fans, as you say, or whether it’s quite deliberate so that his name will come up when someone does a search on RD. Or am I being way too cynical? He may as well just close the account! It’s nowhere near Mr Lovett’s now I’m 35 though. I think it’s slowed down. Hopefully I won’t lose much more. I’m lucky at having no noticeable grey hairs though. (I noticed some that might be grey but it’s difficult to tell as I have some blond strands in with the brown.) September 30, 2010 at 9:12 pm #110797 siParticipant I’m 31, not grey, but with an alarming bald patch. Totally irrelevant, but it looks a bit better than just typing ‘Norman Lovett is a bitter, miserable old bastard’. Whoops. November 5, 2010 at 1:08 pm #110926 Steve HarrisParticipant The ‘ex’ Red Dwarf star, Norman Lovett Told Naylor and Co they should shove it But at ‘Mania 4’ He’ll be Holly once more Thus, clearly he’s rising above it !
