As we’ve now had 2 weeks of the Difficult Daily, I thought it might be prudent to move discussions of the day’s puzzle and our scores to a dedicated thread, so we’re not just bloating the comments of the “Reintroducing Smegle” post all the time. Let that be for more general feedback (or bug reports).

Somewhat tricky, but once I’d got the right series I felt confident I could narrow it down enough not to fail.

Also, what do you think: should this thread be spoiler-free, or not? I’m leaning towards not – because I generally prefer to do the Difficult Daily myself before hearing about others’ scores anyway, and it would be cool to speak openly without having to wait until the next day – but only if there’s consensus on it.

Well that’s embarrassing. 

M-Corp followed by accidentally hitting Krytie TV when I meant Krysis even thought Krysis isn’t the same series. Then decided TPL was worth a try for some reason before circling back around to series XII and trying Timewave before finally having a good guess at what it might be and was thankfully correct.

Chalk me up for another one who thought it was Ace so went Stoke first. Then Pete Part 1 (thought it was when they found the time wand) then Back in the Read 1 and finally Only the Good once we got that lister outfit reveal and BitR was ruled out.

knew it was III from the set, so also knew it couldn’t be Backwards or Marooned. Thought it was Cat sitting at the table in the sleeping quarters so went for Bodyswap (chess), Polymorph (not a meal but an autopsy), then Timeslides once I saw it was Rimmer stood there and we’ll, only had two episodes to guess from anyway.
