Unless they’re filming either in or close to Salt Lake City, there’s not a whole lot to be found in Utah. Well, except for a prehistoric empty salt lake, rattle snakes, lots of rugged canyons, a bunch of orangy rocks, and the occasional Mormon.

And, according to a pub quiz I did the other day, new species of dinosaurs bones…

Oh, yeah, and that, too. Lots of those, from what I understand.

Matt mentioned Monument Valley in his appearance on Craig Ferguson. Makes a lot of sense that if they were going to film anywhere, it’d be there. And I’d call that a fair bit more than “not a whole lot”, considering it’s one of the most famous filming locations in cinematic history!

Back to the future III was filmed there, So the doctor and the doc can have a Tardis vs Delorean on a Train race in that case!

I love how Bill & Ted’s phone booth takes elements of both the Tardis and the Delorean. Obviously you get the phone box element from the Tardis and the flaming, sparking madness of the Delorean. It’s crazy to think that one of the original ideas for the BTTF time machine was a fridge!

Speaking of fridges, Tony Hawks has just appeared on CIN Mastermind with fridges as his specialist subject!!

Only changed because they were worried about the amount of kids trapping themselves in fridges, and the whole mobility thing.

But kids travelling in cars in excess of the national speed limit of nearly every country (bar Germany) is much better :P
