As we’ve now had 2 weeks of the Difficult Daily, I thought it might be prudent to move discussions of the day’s puzzle and our scores to a dedicated thread, so we’re not just bloating the comments of the “Reintroducing Smegle” post all the time. Let that be for more general feedback (or bug reports). And of course, if you get any share-worthy frames in Casual Continuous, feel free to post those here too! — To start us off, 01/05/2022 5/6 Somewhat tricky, but once I’d got the right series I felt confident I could narrow it down enough not to fail. — Also, what do you think: should this thread be spoiler-free, or not? I’m leaning towards not – because I generally prefer to do the Difficult Daily myself before hearing about others’ scores anyway, and it would be cool to speak openly without having to wait until the next day – but only if there’s consensus on it. August 25, 2025 at 1:44 pm #310349 Flap JackParticipant I’ve said it before, but if ever guess something I didn’t mean to due to a misclick, I reset the game without shame, and recreate my prior guesses for the new attempt. Unless the unintended guess reveals information I wouldn’t know otherwise, like confirming which series it is or eliminating a still possible series/episode (‘possible’ being the key word; eliminating a 16:9 series when the frame is 4:3 doesn’t count) – then I’ll stick. I just prefer my scores to be an accurate representation of my guesses. I definitely don’t pressure myself either, in general – I’m lucky if I get more than a 10 streak nowadays! In fact I failed today’s and I was only on a streak of 2. Cat’s injuries should have been iconic to me, but I’m getting rusty.
