Just taking Technopeasant’s advice to spin this game off from The Gallifrey Gals’ own thread.

    Currently unanswered connections:

Future Echoes also doesn’t resolve the Series VIII cliffhanger.

    There may be more.

That should obviously be the correct answer, but it’s a bit too good, really. My answer doesn’t actually appear in the episodes (and I’m not completely sure it is only those two, but I think so).

Two Episodes that may or may not have a unique behind the scenes connection thread

Both begin with a recap in the form of text on screen.
Sorry for late reply, not the answer I was looking for.
    The answer involves the cast

Kryten stand-ins, specifically due to Robert unavailability (otherwise Out of Time would count.)

That’s it mate, also Beyond a Joke had a stand in but Bobby was there

That was very inconsiderate of Rob and Doug back in 1988 to not have a future echo explaining a solo written cliffhanger from ten years later. This is honestly more annoying than the tease in The Beginning and I want my money back.

    Bay 47

That almost makes me wonder if that is meant as a subconscious means of telling them they aren’t right in the head. Or you know, they just liked the number.

Something like the Programme Guide or Smegazine speculated about that back in the day. They were the last two made that series, so it seems Easter Eggy.

Star Trek deliberately includes 47s a lot, but that only started in the 1990/91 season, so probably not a reference at this point.

If that works, it’s another better answer.

This is about related extra content not in the episodes themselves, but not deleted scenes or smeg ups either.

    Yep.

    1991 (DNA ship set):

    1993 (Cat’s Psirens outfit):

    1997 was just repackaged smeg-ups.

Not sure if there were others and this is invalid. Not Children in Need, that’s different.

It’s him inside both of those costumes but I can’t say for certain he’s not in any other episodes.

I was astonished at there being two one-armed (bandit) references in XI, you got me with that one.

    #300006

I’ll give the answer because it’ll be obvious in context of the conversarion

But Nanarchy and Samsara both have one armed bandit in the dialogue

Apologies guys, didn’t mean to sound arsey in my last post. I was confused as I thought Quinn had gotten the Nanarchy/Twentica connection but was saying the answer was also true of Samsara. Sorry to take up your valuable time. Sorry. Thank you, sorry. Bye.

It involves Rimmer, or more specifically, calling him something.

This is very tenuous but women in Rimmer’s life who you wouldn’t normally expect to address him by his surname nevertheless call him “Rimmer”, namely his mother in the letter in BTL, and Lise Yates in his false memory of her.

It does seem like the start of a running joke in those episodes that doesn’t carry on. This could be related too, though maybe not with the careful way clem worded it:

If you have titties drooping from your ass, see a physician.
