First time I saw Justice, I was too young to even know what the Taj Mahal was.

Thirty two years old, I was.
The black and decker drill joke horrified me as a child, haven’t really gotten over it.

I am sorry to hear this buddy. For what it’s worth, I agree with you. RealBigOleDummy should indeed be in jail.

Worried that I might have used the wrong symbol. I meant G&T are better than WM and reaction videos. I’ve always had a blind spot when it comes to those greater/less than symbols.

Nope, those are just fine (presuming you meant G&T is greater than the other two!)

Now THIS is hall of fame material right here guys

I still don’t really get reaction videos, just seems like a bizarre form of content to me. But I guess enough people must be into it as lots of “content creators” seem to be making a good deal out of putting them up.

Philosophically, I agree. In practice, I have just watched watchmojo’s list of top ten Red Dwarf episodes (Krytie TV and Legion are both honourable mentions, Jesus Christ). I think both reaction videos and watchmojo lists prey on the same impulse to hear other people talk about something I love. It’s the same impulse that led me to Ganymede and Titan, probably, although reading an article on G&T is obviously the best choice of something to do at any given time, if we’re not counting the all time number one.
    TL;DR?
    watchmojo < reaction videos < G&T

This should be in the hall of fame!

I assume the joke was just that his head was so big it looked like a helmet, and the wording is such that you just assume it’s a sports helmet (can you tell I didn’t get that they were referencing a real team? ;) ) but clearly it works even better if you get the real reference too. Especially with Cat being American, and Zero-G football already established in RD very obviously being the futuristic equivalent of American Football.

… I don’t actually remember the joke either, but with it written in front of me now, that’s my very sheltered English take on it :p

I see your point. It is pointy.

I personally found that a sharp edged, killer joke and I absolutely got the point.

I am really not sure. Perhaps someone can slice this one open for you to find the answer.
Hmmmm I am not sure I know the answer to this can anyone else take a stab at it?
Seems like the orphans from the Red Dwarf forum haven’t lost their oh so witty retorts. Why don’t you guys go back to your dead forum as I doubt very seriously that you can kill this place like you killed that one. (see I can do it too)

Or like someone might kill a man in an alley by stabbing them to death

Some man suggest Police Academy but now it is gone. Sorry for the loss. I do not like Police Academy although. I hear terrible things about Steve Guttenberg at times.

Ian’s post = hall of fame status.

Seconded. As a new account myself, even I think it might be one the single funniest things I’ve ever seen on the internet ever – and I’ve been online since 1995.

You have not seen Only Fools are Horses Christmas special? That is also very funny!

A Red Dwarf/Other sitcom crossover thread is the greatest idea ever.

What about….It’s Always Sunny on Red Dwarf?
The gang tries to create a teleporter to stop them having to walk to the bar and back for work each day but they balls it up and end up on Red Dwarf.
Charlie and Kryten fight over janitorial duties, Dennis and Rimmer just sneer at everyone, Cat chases Dee around all day cos she’s a bird (LOL) Mac and Lister just drink beer and Frank and Holly argue about the rules of poker.
At the end the Sunny gang are accidentally sucked out of an airlock and into a nearby sun, whereby Lister quips ‘Well they like it Sunny, but that didn’t look fun to me’ the other dwarfers chuckle and then completely forget they ever existed.

Yes this is cool and good maybe it must be in own thread or write in here I am not so sure.

I say cross of where Millhouse from Simpsons comes to Red Dwarf and they make laugh at his glasses lol

People always go on about space, but people forget you can get lost in space.

Actually that is a good point maybe space is too scary for this. Maybe the special can be set in Sheffield instead

Lol are you for serious here? I love sheffield!

Lost in space make me think Joey from friends and maybe should be a cross of Red Dwarf and Friends and the boys drink coffee and Friends boys go in space!

considering how well the Office did in US version, I can’t believe there’s not one tv exec out there waiting to give US RD another crack, especially as it has so many surface similarities (2 squabbling collegues, one laid back and one fussy, a longed for love, a dull workplace etc)

Imagine the office in space but with the dwarf boys there too and when Kryten comes in Jim from the office looks at camera with his face lol
Jim and Dwight should play Lister and Rimmer and Ricky Gervais should play Cat (for his sharp suits and dancing)

You have cross up American and Britain lol Jim face at camera now
