So much better than the Chrismas ep, which lets face it was cheesy humour with eye candy for guys and girls…the part with the sparks behind Tennant bit was lovely, but I did think the episode had turned in to an aftershave advert when they did that.

Anyway, on to today’s one…So went “What!? What!? What!?” when Rose turned round.
I’m still not totally in to Tate’s character (she’s a bit annoying). I kind of liked her as a one off type character.

The fat tissue baby creatures were cute though…awwwww!

Man, that trailer is excellent. So many fantastic lines “Coz it’s not irrational…”, “They’re going out! oh my god, the stars are going out!” etc and Billie seems to have her series 1 acting chops back. GIVE ME THE REST OF THE SERIES NOW.

I just caught the trailer from the website.
Trailer was quite interesting, although I have to say… Daleks… again?
Don’t get me wrong, I like the Dalek episodes, (although the plot resolutions can be a bit rubbish) and there are millions of Daleks still floating around in non-space between universes. So it makes sense that we get back to them eventually. Still, seems a bit soon.

Thats if it is those daleks that they’re dealing with. So far there are two loose threads with the daleks isn’t there? The one who got away in that New York 30s episode with the dreadful accents (the humans not the daleks, they always sound awful, but they have an excuse.), and the millions who got sucked up with the cybermen into the massive cosmic vacuum cleaner in Torchood London.

Oh and Rose with a big gun. Would it be amiss if I exclaimed “Cor!” ?

I saw that little exclusive for next episode with the little girl and the big library too. Looked interesting.

I’ve seen Davros mentioned in a couple of places, but I didn’t see anything of him in that trailer. People getting their info. from somewhere else in spoiler town? Or is it just speculation?

Look at the ‘Dalek’ that’s half in shadow near the end. It has a blue light at about the right height for both a Dalek stalk and Davros’ forehead thing, but you have to ask the question… why shroud the top half in shadow?

Ok, I just had a look, and I see the dalek you mean.

Possibly… but I don’t think so. You can still see the basic shape. At least you can if you look at the clearer version on the site.

I guess it could be Davros if his humanoid parts start much further up than the previous version (which is quite possible, he could have augmented himself further), but I’m not convinced.

I think the shadow was just to make the regular daleks look more menacing particularly if taken in context with what Rose says to Donna at that point.

(Heh! At this very moment they’re showing the trailer on the telly, after me hunting it down on-site. )

Still, it would be interesting if I’m proven wrong.

Chris, trust me – it is Davros. Some of us have our sources, and we know he’s in the finale. He’s being played by an actor called Julian Bleach.

And aside from anything else, that is most decidedly NOT a Dalek. IT’S THE WRONG SHAPE. IT IS DAVROS.
