They apprenatly don’t know what will happen but they predict that it will recreate conditions during the big bang and to me that makes it sound like we are gonna get blown up. Therefore i was right to not get too excited about new dwarf.

I think intro to series 6 was brilliant for introducing the chracters except the cat wasn’t mentioned.

Part of me doesn’t want them to be given a very big budget because small budgets were always a big part of red dwarf. But it would be cool to see what they can do with a big one like doctor who size.

Now about this filming business I don’t know whether it was actually announced that the event was being filmed specially for a DVD or whether the person who went just guessed but if it was being filmed for a DVD then that DVD would surely the 1 hour special with a commentary or two, a documentary, smeg ups, deleted scenes, trailers and then that would leave quite a lot of space so ideally we’d all like another few new episodes. But if we tune back into sanity FM what else do you think may show up on a new DVD?

Just me being pessimistic really. But in my opinion it wasn’t just robert mentioning it. It all seemed very planned. And the fact that it was an event where you had to buy tickets which money went to a tv channel and that the event was advistised alongside a pledge drive. What i’ve been told that bbc worldwide do is when a show gets commisioned bbc worldwide provides extra funds in return for the rights to make lots of merchandise and then depending on how much money they give they often get a big say in the show so they include other things to make the show sell this could mean changes to red dwarf.

One thing in that told me not to get excited. BBC Worldwide. That tells me that it’s going to be dreadfully over marketed, rushed, full of guest stars, product placement i mean just look how it was announced. But if non of that appears then it’ll be a stright to DVD release.

What amazes me is that they manage to fit all this into a 30 minute episode never mind the two advert breaks as well. However the ratings aren?t very good it turns out they only managed to pull in about 20 people. It’s not what it used to be after they changed the colour of red dwarf to the same colours as mr blobby. Never mind what they did to starbug. I mean don’t get me wrong it was a good idea to mark the 10th series by changing the ships colour and making Mr. blobby a regular cast member. But it?s when they brought noel in with his boxes and reviled kryten as the banker from deal or no deal.

Backwards just after the first just the shows dvd had been released then after series 6 had been released on dvd Emohawk then the rest of series 6 that followed. i then watched in same weekend series 1,2 and the rest of 3 by the end of the week up to series 6 then i had to wait untill the other 2 dvd’s came out.

is this idea dead now? well i’ve been thinking about it and for the faces on the money i came up with this

I did it based on rank on the ship but wasnt sure about holly and cat i put cat at top for 2 reasons i didnt really want a non major character as the biggy plus that is probably is how the cat thinks it should be. would it be good having skutters on money for the joke they outrank rimmer and lister

Also the card for get out of quarantine free should be something like “You find the luck virus you can use this to get out of quarantine” it would also work for the tank
