I’ll try to relay it as accurately as possible. I am part of the Dwarf crew and we all get sent to a little town back in time (maybe the 1800s?). No one likes us, especially because of Kryten’s look. For some reason, we don’t age for hundreds of years and can’t leave the town. However, ultimately the townspeople learn to love us and we become accustomed to the new environment. That idea seems vaguely similar to Time of the Doctor and The Inner Life.
