July 8, 2009 at 10:14 am in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100857 JamesTCParticipant If he was just a head I would assume it would just take very very long to regenerate his body or maybe it is like The Judge out of Buffy, he needs to be with other pieces of his body so if they grabbed parts of his body and spread them across the world then he wouldn’t regenerate. July 8, 2009 at 9:53 am in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100854 JamesTCParticipant How would you feel about enclosed spaces if you were buried for 100 years. July 8, 2009 at 9:52 am in reply to: What is the movie of the year? #100853 JamesTCParticipant Star Trek. July 8, 2009 at 12:04 am in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100842 JamesTCParticipant The Jack corpse thing was bloody brilliant, very well done I thought. Overall an imrpovement on the previous episode. July 7, 2009 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Just a thought #100834 JamesTCParticipant Makes sense. July 7, 2009 at 7:33 pm in reply to: Just a thought #100832 JamesTCParticipant *watches ‘Brain of Morbius’* Now he doesn’t look like Robert Holmes. July 7, 2009 at 5:20 pm in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100826 JamesTCParticipant So is Torchwood going to carry on next year? And SJA for that matter. July 7, 2009 at 5:19 pm in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100825 JamesTCParticipant It was rather funny, not as good as their ‘Planet of the Dead’ skit on youtube, quite a bit of Doctor Who stuff on their youtube channel. The “exile” bits had me on the floor. July 7, 2009 at 2:07 pm in reply to: I had a dream…. #100821 JamesTCParticipant Thanks. July 7, 2009 at 12:20 pm in reply to: Just a thought #100818 JamesTCParticipant >According to so-called ?experts?, ghosts remain on this plain of reality because they have unfinished business, right? Where is Robert Holmes and why isn’t he finishing ‘Trial of a Time Lord’ part 14. July 7, 2009 at 12:18 pm in reply to: Just a thought #100817 JamesTCParticipant You can really see how it influenced BtE. July 7, 2009 at 9:37 am in reply to: I had a dream…. #100813 JamesTCParticipant I had a dream a few days ago that my grandad came home from hospital and recovered 100% from his stroke and he was really happy, we were trying to get him home for the last few weeks, he was meant to come home yesterday see, he never came home though. July 7, 2009 at 9:34 am in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100812 JamesTCParticipant Better than Series 1 Torchwood, not as good as Series 2 though I will wait to judge it because it is a multiple part story and will probably work better after the other episodes. July 6, 2009 at 2:46 pm in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100798 JamesTCParticipant I liked ‘Time and the Rani’ being compared with the Teletubbies by Gareth Roberts. July 6, 2009 at 11:48 am in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100792 JamesTCParticipant ‘The War Games’ DVD is fantastic, stunning restoration. July 5, 2009 at 9:18 pm in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100787 JamesTCParticipant Or it could appear in Moran’s new film. July 5, 2009 at 9:48 am in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100780 JamesTCParticipant ‘The War Games’ is out on monday, so you know, buy it. July 4, 2009 at 12:35 am in reply to: How my brain works when I’m ill and I can’t sleep #100746 JamesTCParticipant Who needs sleep when they have INSOMNIA!!! July 3, 2009 at 5:18 pm in reply to: How my brain works when I’m ill and I can’t sleep #100726 JamesTCParticipant If you start shaking your head without realising you need to get sleep, I had insomnia a few weeks back and I hadn’t slept a while, I was playing Forza 2 and I started shaking my head back and forth, after a while I realised I was shaking my head and stopped, in the time I had realised I was shaking my head and had stopped my car had crashed at a corner and I was in last place, I have never been so messed up. July 3, 2009 at 12:26 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100719 JamesTCParticipant When does the Red Dwarf toblerone go on sale? July 3, 2009 at 10:01 am in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100699 JamesTCParticipant You do know I was joking? July 2, 2009 at 11:02 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100683 JamesTCParticipant Yeh, HD-DVD is were it’s at! I mean Blu-Rays are like ?20 each and HD-DVDs are about ?4 each. July 2, 2009 at 8:36 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100679 JamesTCParticipant They should put Blu-Midget instead of Blu-ray disc on the top. July 2, 2009 at 3:37 pm in reply to: Bobby Llew in car accident (but uninjured) #100660 JamesTCParticipant Someone asked him to reply with “I’m fine thankyou Susan” on twitter, he did. July 2, 2009 at 3:35 pm in reply to: Bobby Llew in car accident (but uninjured) #100659 JamesTCParticipant Says alot about him when he can be so positive about a car crash. July 2, 2009 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100657 JamesTCParticipant Not on boxsets, I don’t know about regular releases. July 2, 2009 at 1:38 pm in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100656 JamesTCParticipant They should have a rainbow coloured ball in snooker. July 2, 2009 at 8:37 am in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100646 JamesTCParticipant When I was a young’n I thought that when TV was Black and White it was because everything was B&W, simpler time. July 2, 2009 at 12:24 am in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100638 JamesTCParticipant >I also found it incredibly clever the way they concluded the story with a ?homage? to an earlier episode. It was in no way a rip-off and Doug Naylor obviously hasn?t run out of ideas? “It could have been a number of things to explain away and restore the fourth wall, I felt because it was kind of a 21st anniversary show there was a sort of coolness in sort of in, in using one of our most loved shows and revisiting it. I didn’t think people would go “Oh you just can’t think of any ideas” erm *laughs* just proves that there’s there’s [tails off to something else]” Doug Naylor – BTE Commentary. July 2, 2009 at 12:06 am in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100636 JamesTCParticipant >And I like that you like that you are still noticing things. And I like that you like that I like that I am still noticing things. July 1, 2009 at 11:49 pm in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100634 JamesTCParticipant >Just listen to the new Torchwood audio or read a book or something. Or you could watch BTE! I am again. I just realised another thing in the mini bunk room scene, the carpet is flashing to represent the flashing table computer thing in the new BTE bunk room, I like that I am still noticing things. July 1, 2009 at 10:58 pm in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100630 JamesTCParticipant Series VIII isn’t shit, don’t be tedious. July 1, 2009 at 9:45 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100623 JamesTCParticipant Can you have Blu-Ray in the same style, I have only ever seen boxsets in the slip case style, all other releases are in normal blue cases. July 1, 2009 at 9:40 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100621 JamesTCParticipant But you won’t get a DVD that looks like the one in the show! July 1, 2009 at 9:30 pm in reply to: Blade Runner References pre-Back To Earth #100618 JamesTCParticipant I was listening to the Radio Show of it yesterday but I think that bit was cut out, I was certainly shocked not to have the polymorph in it though it works better as a radio show without it I guess. July 1, 2009 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Region 1 release – October 8th – and Blu-ray! #100616 JamesTCParticipant Enjoy! The commentaries are the best of the range. July 1, 2009 at 10:36 am in reply to: Psychoville #100592 JamesTCParticipant Hmm, I never listened to the other Torchwood radio play, I might listen to this one, think it is a fantastic idea to remedy less Torchwood by doing full cast audios. If they are on Iplayer I will give them a listen. Apart from episode 1 of Children of Earth I will watch them all at 9 next week then, on the monday I will have Troughton to be watching. I actually feel quite proud with this, I usually know everything about the show before it airs but I have stayed clear of the likes of the planetgallifrey blog so I don’t know much about it, go into it knowing nothing for once. July 1, 2009 at 10:16 am in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100588 JamesTCParticipant Including the people who recorded it later I think it was alot more, about 2.5 or 2.6, I mean when the two million article was released they still wern’t the final figures were they. June 30, 2009 at 10:53 pm in reply to: That’s Numberwang! #100580 JamesTCParticipant I had no idea either, all of the current series is on iplayer so I watched it earlier today. June 30, 2009 at 8:23 pm in reply to: That’s Numberwang! #100578 JamesTCParticipant The sketch in episodes 2 about adverts for women vs adverts for men was brilliant. June 30, 2009 at 8:06 pm in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100577 JamesTCParticipant Danny was just joking in the commentary, I still stand by that they look like each other though. June 30, 2009 at 7:00 pm in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100571 JamesTCParticipant I’m not wrong in thinking that before BTE Torchwood had the highest non-sporting event ratings on a digital channel or am I getting mixed up? June 30, 2009 at 6:50 pm in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100570 JamesTCParticipant No, the fact that a spin-off to Britains most popular show gets beat by a show that hasn’t been on for 10 years and was denied a new series by the BBC makes me happy. I actually didn’t mind Torchwood Series 1 (though orgasm alien was just cringe worthy), I think it got much better with Series 2 though, I’m going off topic. June 30, 2009 at 2:11 pm in reply to: Psychoville #100564 JamesTCParticipant Torchwood is on next week? June 30, 2009 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Viewing Figures Including Records #100563 JamesTCParticipant Red Dwarf shits on Torchwood ratings when it was on a digital channel. June 29, 2009 at 6:19 am in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100547 JamesTCParticipant It can be about something, I just don’t care what that something is especially when watching the stories for the first time which I did with several stories this week. June 28, 2009 at 10:32 pm in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100544 JamesTCParticipant >Paradise Towers, Delta And the Bannermen, Dragonfire Watched those three stories this week and didn’t catch any of the refrences. June 28, 2009 at 9:24 pm in reply to: Doctor Whoooooooooooo, hey! Doctor Who! #100541 JamesTCParticipant Can somebody explain the nazis in ‘Silvernemesis’ please. They are just there in 1988 with no explanation. June 28, 2009 at 12:24 pm in reply to: Torchwood Using Their Own Brig… #100532 JamesTCParticipant What about in ‘New Earth’ when she is a normal human.
