Just downloaded a perfect dark remix Air Force one is Down by daniel baronowsky. August 29, 2008 at 6:00 pm in reply to: Secret of Mana – who’s played it/owns it? #83756 TonguetiedParticipant Anyone of Neskvartettens’s in particular you recommend, I’m listening to Ganon’s Temple right now. ‘Triforce Majeure’by Disco Dan(quite an original name there) is really terrific. Hyrule’s castle themes was one of my favourite tunes in LTTP. August 29, 2008 at 5:18 pm in reply to: Secret of Mana – who’s played it/owns it? #83753 TonguetiedParticipant Thanks for the link Arlene. Do you have the Link to the Past remix called ‘dark world prelude and march’ http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01531/, it’s got some good potential. August 29, 2008 at 4:45 pm in reply to: Secret of Mana – who’s played it/owns it? #83747 TonguetiedParticipant Found a link to Street Fighter 2 mixes if that’s your cup of tea http://sf2.ocremix.org/ as a recommendation that is. August 29, 2008 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Secret of Mana – who’s played it/owns it? #83746 TonguetiedParticipant I think they have some Street Fighter 2 mixes, but last time I was on was ages ago. August 29, 2008 at 4:12 pm in reply to: Secret of Mana – who’s played it/owns it? #83743 TonguetiedParticipant Ah OCRemix, I did get a few great Secret of Mana and Zelda mixes over there years ago. Great site. I never actually got round to completing the game even though I’ve had it for years. Loved the Flamie music played when you were airborne flying around the map. August 29, 2008 at 2:21 pm in reply to: Back in the Red: Part Three – It Just Bugs Me #83732 TonguetiedParticipant I only really liked the return of the old transitional music in the background when Red Dwarf was passing by. I really hated the country music played during the peeling of the spuds . August 29, 2008 at 2:12 pm in reply to: Back in the Red: Part Three – It Just Bugs Me #83727 TonguetiedParticipant The music in Tongue Tied is actually quite catchy, albeit dated. Whereas Blue Midget dance if I remember had that silly cartoonish tune and of course the chattering teeth. The teeth were the only good part about that sequence. August 29, 2008 at 1:01 pm in reply to: Smegazines – anyone else got them? #83710 TonguetiedParticipant I liked the comic where the Cat priests sent forward mercenaries to capture Lister and teleport him back to the war ravaged world of the Cat wars. I think Hudzen made a cameo, but it was really just Kryten wearing a helmet. I always thought it would have been cool to see the cargo decks with all the derelict cat homes in the tv series much like Infinty Welcomes Careful Drivers mentioned. August 29, 2008 at 12:18 pm in reply to: Back in the Red: Part Three – It Just Bugs Me #83701 TonguetiedParticipant Part three was alright in my opinion, don’t know if anyone noticed but when Cat throws his lab coat off, in the next shot you don’t see where it landed. Artificial Reality cleans up the mess. August 28, 2008 at 1:01 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83554 TonguetiedParticipant I’d rather have something than nothing, even if it doesn’t meet expectation, just to have a conclusion would be great. August 28, 2008 at 12:13 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83551 TonguetiedParticipant I think whatever happens with this new show it’s always going to go down a route that some people will be pleased with and others won’t. But then again that’s the case with past Red Dwarf series too. However I think that however good or bad it turns out, at least it’s something new. Something we can rant on about. I honestly thought we’d never get to see Dwarf returned to tv whether that be on the BBC or a satellite channel. I’m grateful for whatever happens. August 28, 2008 at 8:47 am in reply to: Twitter Directory #83526 TonguetiedParticipant Added you. August 27, 2008 at 10:47 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83487 TonguetiedParticipant How many Futurama movies have there been? Is it just the 2? The series is finished right, just has direct to dvd movies concluding the franchise. I always thought Futurama was a interesting beast compared with The Simpsons, very different. August 27, 2008 at 10:37 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83483 TonguetiedParticipant Am I right in thinking that the interview was recorded? If so, would be cool to download and listen to it fully, I missed some of the Q and A. August 27, 2008 at 10:22 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83479 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah it will have to be written with the mass audience in mind, which will inevitably affect the series/specials after this one, if they are indeed made. I wonder how much of the story will be more directed towards the red dwarf fanbase who know about the history of the show. August 27, 2008 at 10:10 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83472 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah is it just BBC World Wide funding or another potential source? August 27, 2008 at 10:06 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83470 TonguetiedParticipant There’s meant to be a Jonathan Creek special this christmas too isn’t there? August 27, 2008 at 10:04 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83468 TonguetiedParticipant Thank you David for alerting us to the interview. It was great! Red Dwarf just got a new breath of fresh air. 10 years on and still running strong. August 27, 2008 at 9:57 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83465 TonguetiedParticipant Ace would be a great idea Smeg4Brains, I can imagine the story involving the original hologram rimmer returning as Ace saving the crew or something. But then again, would be good if the human Rimmer of series 8 died in the special and was resurrected with the original big gray H glued on, even though it looked naff. August 27, 2008 at 9:54 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83462 TonguetiedParticipant Bah I could do with Norman’s confirmation, I could give or take Chloe. August 27, 2008 at 9:51 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83460 TonguetiedParticipant I think it should be shown on BBC2, are BBC Word Wide co-funding it with an american company? August 27, 2008 at 9:49 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83459 TonguetiedParticipant What premises do you think could be set up, I mean 10 years needs a continuity explanation, maybe just a throw away line or a short scene detailing what happened, like Lister at the start of Tikka series 7. I hope it isn’t all the cast sitting in the bunkroom reminiscing over past events. Then again I hope it doesn’t just try to redo old classic gags, needs to be fresh new stuff. Not too action orientated as series 7. I think doug will use some of the Earth script that was written. Although we all know what the conclusion was to that, so it would be better if he tinkered with the ending so it didn’t involve Red Dwarf crashing into the earth and wiping out the future species. August 27, 2008 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83455 TonguetiedParticipant It would be great if Norman was definitely signed on, I can’t see why he wouldn’t. Could be nice if there was a short scene where he malfunctioned or something to explain the appearance of hattie’s version. August 27, 2008 at 9:40 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83451 TonguetiedParticipant Ah cool, what did he actually say, my connection was cut off for a few minutes then. Robert’s response to the question of norman/hattie’s involvement I mean. August 27, 2008 at 9:34 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83446 TonguetiedParticipant David did you ask about norman/hattie being involved too? August 27, 2008 at 9:32 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83445 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah I was thinking what should I ask, should I just say I was a fan of red dwarf and talk about making do,then ask about the status of the special, but then when I got through, I just leapt in with asking about whether or not it would be the finale or could it lead onto another series. I wasn’t sure if I would get a chance to speak for longer than a minute or so. August 27, 2008 at 9:28 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83440 TonguetiedParticipant So is interview going to be on the dvd bonus features, please! :) August 27, 2008 at 9:21 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83436 TonguetiedParticipant I was shitting myself when he answered and said my name, I thought bloody hell. I thought I’d be in a queue of american fans. I kept being put on hold, so I just kept ringing, I sent a few messages saying I was a big fan of red dwarf hoping that they would pop up on the screen. Did you hear that guy who didn’t actually mean to call? He was just a friend of the previous guy. August 27, 2008 at 9:17 pm in reply to: New Red Dwarf Episode Announced August 24th 2008 #83433 TonguetiedParticipant I like how the sun reminds us about the ”good” natures of the cast in that article. I’m with Phil, clip shows are shit, there’s no need at all. August 27, 2008 at 9:11 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83429 TonguetiedParticipant This has to be one of the best posts on ganymede and titan! I never thought I’d get through, but I thought it was worth a shot. August 27, 2008 at 8:29 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83412 TonguetiedParticipant Anyone else tried to get through to the chat? August 27, 2008 at 8:28 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83409 TonguetiedParticipant Thanks alot to David Russell! Thank you for starting this forum and alerting us to this interview! August 27, 2008 at 8:27 pm in reply to: Last Minute – Robert Llewellyn on TWiT #83408 TonguetiedParticipant Yep that was me haha! January 10, 2008 at 10:30 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119287 TonguetiedParticipant Andrew your probably the worst at any retorts on this forum when it comes to having a dig at me, it’s absolutley dreadful, your trying to join in on the fun and you’re failing. Why don’t you try and set up an interview or get some interesting updates with the official site instead of picking on me. January 10, 2008 at 5:44 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119271 TonguetiedParticipant The most likey hood is that we won’t see Arnold not even in a cameo, which is a shame because it would have been absolutely marvelous if he were to say show up at the end of the picture, going back in time to 1980s to give the franchise a sort of ouroboros feel. However saying that, I read that they may be planning on doing two more after this one, but that would be based on how successful the tv series is, to see if people are still into Terminator. And of course you’ll always have fans who just liked 1 and 2, hated 3. Nothing would surpass 2 if you ask me. January 10, 2008 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Rimmer’s part in the radiation leak – ”It’s a question of differentiating between guilt and culpability” #119270 TonguetiedParticipant ”You?re used to. Because you?re a git.” Ho, ho my I’m so darn upset. January 9, 2008 at 2:34 am in reply to: Congratulations Ian and Jo!! #119213 TonguetiedParticipant Dave your paying attention to my posts, I applaud you sir! January 9, 2008 at 1:57 am in reply to: Congratulations Ian and Jo!! #119208 TonguetiedParticipant Call the child Tonguetied junior my friend, you know it makes sense! Good luck, your troubles of sleepness nights have begun! January 9, 2008 at 1:52 am in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119206 TonguetiedParticipant ”Tonguetied: He?s like Wikipedia, only amazingly he?s more annoying.” And it seems he gets under your skin successfully, and I’m glad for that Cappers old chap. I’m merely reiterating information, which you do all the time, so smeg off. It seems like you actually bothered to read up some of what I was saying for yourself, too much time on your hands. January 9, 2008 at 1:47 am in reply to: Rimmer’s part in the radiation leak – ”It’s a question of differentiating between guilt and culpability” #119207 TonguetiedParticipant Wow so you were, I’m amazed at your mellow headed temper here, certainly not the fully fledged Ian we’re use to. January 8, 2008 at 9:58 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119194 TonguetiedParticipant Yeah I checked it out, he’s going to be the new John Connor. There are still conflicting reports as to whether Arnold will be returning for a cameo for the new film. It’s going to be called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. There will be a new character who will be a major player alongside Connor called Marcus. January 8, 2008 at 9:52 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119192 TonguetiedParticipant Bale is starring?! That is a weird move, new Terminator possibly? January 8, 2008 at 9:08 pm in reply to: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles #119188 TonguetiedParticipant Oh yeah, I watched some clips from the show on YouTube, they’re going into a different continuity from that of Terminator 3, which is being disregarded for this storyline. However I heard rumors that Terminator 4 may have some links with the series, if the fourth film ever gets made. As for the show itself, I think it looks quite promising, I liked how they have Dysons wife from Terminator 2 having a cameo. The only thing I don’t like is the new ally terminator girl who they have along with them this time. I thought the series would be stronger with just Sarah and John on the run, but it looks good nonetheless, I wonder if it will get picked up for future series. January 8, 2008 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Rob Grant on Millionaire #119187 TonguetiedParticipant ”The Kemps? Do you mean as in Martin and Gary from Spandau Ballet?” Yup those were the ones indeed. January 8, 2008 at 8:40 pm in reply to: Rob Grant on Millionaire #119183 TonguetiedParticipant Oh shag, I was hoping to be the one who posted this little nugget of news! I saw it, I was really surprised and delighted to have him heard on the show! January 2, 2008 at 12:13 am in reply to: Voyage of the Damned #118937 TonguetiedParticipant Max Capricorn he was just a trash can with a head, probably the last thing they accounted for when they ran out of money on that episode, not the most original design or intimidating. January 1, 2008 at 11:27 pm in reply to: Voyage of the Damned #118936 TonguetiedParticipant Also Sebastian, you ”fuck off”. Cheers big ears. January 1, 2008 at 11:25 pm in reply to: Voyage of the Damned #118935 TonguetiedParticipant Still far too kiddy for even a family show. Terrible, terrible scripting. No excuses my fellow dwarfers, none whatsoever. January 1, 2008 at 3:28 am in reply to: Voyage of the Damned #118908 TonguetiedParticipant I watched the Christmas special of Doc Who and I can’t say I was overly impressed. Such is the revived show, it’s too much aimed at children and loudy so. It just feels like the script is immature at every level. The new series just doesn’t remind me of the darker older episodes that used to be so good. Sure Tennent is a giddy, eccentric kind of Doctor which harkens back to the past but that is about it. The Daleks seem to be overly used now, probably to boost ratings and get the attention of older more intelligent fans. Alas it just makes me think they can’t create any good adversaries for the Doc. I did enjoy some of the Christopher Eccelson series, but regarding his companions like Billie Piper, she is just eye candy, all body and no talent when it comes to acting and the same with her replacement. Shame to see such a cherished and iconic series turned into a kiddy bbc show that doesn’t deserve to air when it does. It should be on CBBC after school for the children. Much like Robin Hood, while alot of dosh has been spent, it amounts to a hill of beans when it comes to quality television for our TV licences. P.S. Making Daleks fly, that is sacrilege. Getting stars to appear like Kylie to appeal to us watchers, it’s pretty pathetic.Voyage of the desperate if you ask me. Author Replies Viewing 50 replies - 51 through 100 (of 183 total) 1 2 3 4
