    > I would like Peter Kay to get a lifetime achievement award, so that someone could snipe him on stage immediately afterwards. Then he will be dead.

Surely the Children In Need Animated All Star Band video redeems him from death? It was amazing.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me is the worst film I’ve ever seen! Admittedly though I haven’t seen the TV series so I had no idea what was going on and lost interest after a very short amount of time. Blame my media studies teacher. For some reason he decided to make us watch it despite the fact you obviously need a lot of context and prior knowledge to be able to understand the film. Still. I hated it. And anyway, it scared me.

    > On which he kinda let slip that Doctor?s 10 and 11 meet

He didn’t really do that at all. At the most he implied they’d been on set together but before he could really clarify Norton jumped in and started putting words in his mouth. I believe Tennant’s reply was then “it’s not that straight-forward.”

It’s a good list but is completely out of order IMO

I think it’s quite obvious throughout the show that they really do kind of need each other. As much as driving Rimmer nuts keeps Lister going, blaming his failings on Lister and driving HIM nuts it what keeps Rimmer going.

And there’s plenty of moments also to suggest that they do like each other too. Lister missing Rimmer in Blue, Rimmer doing pretty much everything he can do to keep Lister alive in Marooned, Rimmer’s ‘death’ and funeral, Lister wanting to give Rimmer a really good deathday present in Thanks For the Memory etc. etc. It never really struck me as strange that Rimmer would miss Lister at all.

Yeah it was really nice seeing him putting the pieces together when he was interviewing the doctor with Alex. Really enjoyed the episode as a whole actually, seeing Hunt play along with the corruption then reveal to Alex its all a part of an undercover investigation was very satisfying for me.

That’s quite sad if it’s true. Does no-one want to be surprised anymore? :-(

    > Moffat has said that he doesn?t want to return enemies in an interview hasn?t he?

Yes and RTD said he wouldn’t be bringing the Master back again after the end of Series 3 but…

I heard her say recently that she wouldn’t mind doing Jonathan Creek again actually. Don’t know the details around why she left originally but it’d be nice to see her back in the new special they’re prepping for next year.

    > The less said of ?Time on the Rani? and ?Dimensions in Time? the better.

    *Time AND The Rani ;-)

It would be interesting to see what they could do with the character in the new series. And see how they explain that SOMEONE ELSE managed to survive the Time War along with The Doctor, The Master, the Dalek race and Davros. Pretty soon there will have been absolutely no point in having the Time War at all. In fact, if they bring back the rest of the Time Lords as well at some point, they could even have The Second Time War in time for Series 6. Joy.

Yeah I have fond memories but I suspect Seb may be right. Haven’t watched it for about 12 years I would think and it seems like the kind of thing that wouldn’t age well. Do I risk spoiling the memories by trying to find some clips on youtube or summat?

Nah it has Cat calling everyone monkey’s for the hundreth time since BTE publicity began and saying the ‘com’ in ‘hmv.com’ stands for completely stylish or summat. It’s not too bad, better than the Lister one for sure.

That works pretty well. Think the title sequence might be the best achievement though. Really good, well done.

    > It is ?59.99 now, I guess more people started buying it

They put it in a one day only April Fools Day sale. ?7.99 is such a ridiculous price for the set it makes sense they can only afford to offer such a deal for a very limited amount of time!
