Smeggy Goo! News Posted by Jonathan Capps on 6th March 2007, 21:00 After eight years of downtime, Friend of G&T Mick Hayes has relaunched the Red Dwarf search engine Smegoo!, ready to serve literally all of your Red Dwarf searching needs. What with me being an Internetless prick pre-1999 I don't remember the original incarnation of the engine (masterminded by Mick and Jeoff Forbes and shown in all its glory here, through the site's DwarfWiki entry), but it seems this relaunch is very, very impressive indeed. The Virgin Birth? News Posted by John Hoare on 6th March 2007, 10:54 Yep, it's another of those TEH FUTURE OF TELLIES articles - Red Dwarf Series 1 and 2 are available for free on-demand if you're a Virgin Media customer. Now sure, it's only free for the first three months (after that, it'll cost £5 a month for on-demand telly), and they have stupidly managed to give Series 1 the descriptions and episode titles of Red Dwarf VIII. Indeed, it's obviously not hugely exciting for us lot - or a lot of people, considering the DVDs are some of the biggest 2|entertain has ever released - although we can perhaps hope that a few more people will discover what a great show it is. Yeah, they’re called dreams News Posted by John Hoare on 3rd March 2007, 12:26 So, I wake up this morning, and realise that I've been dreaming about Red Dwarf. Unfortunately, it was about an new shot in Demons & Angels. A shot which involved the Highs and Lows playing tennis. On the underside of the ship. With water in the background. And it was a moving wide shot that moved back and forth between the players, from overhead. And the cast commentary was on as well. This was one of a number of new model shots I had introduced into the episode. PLEASE HELP ME. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME. Reminds me of the time I dreamt up an entirely new VII... Read more →

So, here is, courtesy of YouTube - Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4 of The Ronnie and Nancy Show. Read more →

NICE. NORM. NEWS. News Posted by John Hoare on 26th February 2007, 11:41 Dated 23rd December, but (apart from the Glasgow date) this is new news, so it must just be an updated story: "I will be recording my stand-up show in April for DVD release. I'm very excited as it is my first and after 28 years of stand-up I think I'm ready. I will be performing my Slide Show at Edinburgh Festival this year." Could you get two better Norm-related pieces of news than that? I doubt it. A DVD release of his stand-up should be fantastic - and I'm intrigued to see how his slideshow will go down in Edinburgh...
