RIMMER: That’s Nuremberg! That’s Adolf Hitler!
KRYTEN: I cut the photograph out of one of your magazines.
    RIMMER: Which magazine was that?
KRYTEN: This month’s Time magazine. He’s Man of the Year.

“I saw the final episode of the final series being filmed live – how amazing is that?!”

April Fools was almost a week ago. We’re far more concerned at the moment about the quite hideous thing that’s happened to Lister.

    Minors not miners!

Sorry, someone had to reference it.

You really do not need to create a new ending – just cut it at “Riiiiight! Nice re-build! Those nano-dudes have done a real neat job.”

Back on Red Dwarf, problem solved.

Certainly “Bastard” is a swear word, but in most of the English speaking world it has become so far removed from its original meaning to have become mostly harmless.

And apparently “Fanny” does not mean the same thing here as it does in the UK.

Maybe it is because I am Canadian, but I really do not understand how “bastard” and “fanny” can be seen as Strong Language.

Just spotted this beauty from Edmonton Public Library:
“An unambitious slob has been awakened from a 3 million year sleep to find out he may be the last human alive. Hopelessly lost in space, this crew of mutant bachelors kill time and share adventures aboard the mining ship Red Dwarf.”

    …Mutant Bachelors?

DeviantArt should work fine for these, based on my experience.

And I am glad that you are indeed working with lossless formats, especially when doing iterative modifications. The amount of people that unwittingly suffer from generation loss is more than I can count, but I apologize for doubting you in this case.

Am I the only one concerned that you are distributing these as JPEGs? It would be a hell of thing to put in all of this work and then have quality lost due to lossy compression.

Well, there is a difference between not being a gamer and slagging off an entire medium as a waste of time that people should avoid, but I do need to see the original quote first. For all I know the entire thing could be dog shite.

Also consider that in Fathers & Suns they seem to be resigned to the idea of replacing Holly with Pree while in BTE they still have some hope of “drying him out”.

I really wish they did not have the “after Series X” line in BTE when all of the other references are to the fictional Series IX.

So it looks like things are settling to:
    1. Give & Take
    2. Samsara
    3. Krysis
    4. Can of Worms
    5. Officer Rimmer
    6. Twentica

As for my megamix in running order:
    1. Trojan
    2. Give & Take
    3. Lemons
    4. Samsara
    5. Krysis
    6. The Beginning

Not sure on it all yet though.

    > I assume that they would have paid off the ‘Lister bettering himself’ plot arc that disappears after Fathers & Suns.

It ended with Lemons technically. Even if reading about Shakespeare seemed an odd way to go about taking a robotics course.

    > I’ve seen pages, Wikipedia included, that always make sure to spell it out as “Red Dwarf X” in full every time despite numbering other series as just “Series Roman Numeral” as you would expect.

I am sure the fact that Dave went out of their way to promote the series as “Red Dwarf X” in full rather than just Series X has nothing to do with this convention…

Just as the logo you upload says Red Dwarf XI now.

    > Apparently the skeleton orgy in Samsara was actually a joke lifted from the script of Phwoaarr….or so I have been told … I should say I can’t confirm the validity of that!

If you are referring to the note on the Tongue Tied Wiki, I just said that the skeleton sex orgy was reminiscent of Phwoaarr, not lifted from it.

Strangest sentence I have ever written.
