Schedule is here. February 16, 2012 at 9:41 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Ratings #115246 JamesTCParticipant You may be right, they only aired 6 episodes in a row (one on Wednesday followed by 5 on the Mondays in the lead up to VIII) so it could have been a remastered series. February 16, 2012 at 8:57 pm in reply to: Back to Earth Ratings #115244 JamesTCParticipant Yes, the above table is much more detailed than the one I posted there. I’m taking a look through the BARB at the moment and finding a lot of Red Dwarf repeats in the weeks before VIII aired. Does anybody know if these were Series VII repeats? February 16, 2012 at 2:51 pm in reply to: Mid mornings still matter #115228 JamesTCParticipant It is for TV I think. Either Sky One or Sky Atlantic. They’re certainly re-editing the original 12 into 6 episodes (which will hopefully lead to a DVD release). February 8, 2012 at 7:04 pm in reply to: Downtime #115043 JamesTCParticipant Anonymous are big Iain Lee fans. February 4, 2012 at 11:00 pm in reply to: Dwarf Cast Request! #114932 JamesTCParticipant Do a commentary on your ‘Krytie TV’ commentary. February 4, 2012 at 8:17 pm in reply to: Yeah No Yeah No… #114907 JamesTCParticipant >Where can I get/download the fan film ‘Yeah No Yeah No’? It is on the Red Dwarf Series VII DVD. February 3, 2012 at 10:26 pm in reply to: Things found through Red Dwarf Google Alerts… #114851 JamesTCParticipant But Red Dwarf comes with Sheldon’s recyc water. February 3, 2012 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Things found through Red Dwarf Google Alerts… #114848 JamesTCParticipant Seen the episode now. Penny and Wine vs Red Dwarf. Penny and Wine has no chance. February 3, 2012 at 8:31 pm in reply to: Things found through Red Dwarf Google Alerts… #114833 JamesTCParticipant I don’t mind a little inaccuracy. They at least tried. Besides, 16 million Americans now knowing what Red Dwarf is can only be a good thing. February 3, 2012 at 7:59 pm in reply to: Things found through Red Dwarf Google Alerts… #114826 JamesTCParticipant Wikipedia says 61 so Big Bang says 61. Maybe he includes BTE, the xtended episodes, the animated episodes and the pilot which all get it to 61. February 2, 2012 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Norm’s post-Dwarf tell-all #114797 JamesTCParticipant >Can we expect a G+T review? I’m sure Norm will review G&T in one of the later chapters. January 25, 2012 at 1:30 pm in reply to: How long do you (realisticaly) want RD to run for? #114153 JamesTCParticipant They’ve been very good about it up to now. It almost seems like the showrunners of Corrie are fans of Red Dwarf… But I don’t see why Corrie wouldn’t give him the time off so long as they are given sufficient advance notice (as they were with X) to change any stories they may have had planned (or create stories to fit). January 24, 2012 at 10:39 am in reply to: How long do you (realisticaly) want RD to run for? #114487 JamesTCParticipant As long as Doug and the cast feel they can take it. I’d still be watching in 30 years if they feel they want to still be making it then. Bobby would only be 3 minutes in make-up to get the Kryten mask on by then. January 23, 2012 at 9:39 am in reply to: The Misprounouncedsons #114457 JamesTCParticipant They’re still doing it. On Friday it was “The Stinkersons” and “The Opinions”. January 21, 2012 at 8:57 pm in reply to: #Dwarffacts #114421 JamesTCParticipant I’m tempted to write one to see if he does respond. January 21, 2012 at 6:41 pm in reply to: #Dwarffacts #114414 JamesTCParticipant Oh Norm… Just saw this on twitter “In RDIII, Norman Lovett never attended rehearsals or location shoots but still got the same money as in I and II. #dwarffacts” and Norm responded “@George_Kaplan59 I was not in RD3”. January 15, 2012 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Norman L.O.Lovett #114251 JamesTCParticipant Normoan by name, Normoan by nature. January 15, 2012 at 4:45 pm in reply to: SFDebris: Opinionated Guide To Red Dwarf #114248 JamesTCParticipant I like his theory on how the version of Lister seen in ‘Stasis Leak’ is the future version (pre-jar) from ‘Out of Time’ (which explains away why Lister didn’t end up marrying the original Kochanski, they changed time by being killed by their future selves). January 12, 2012 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Norman L.O.Lovett #114216 JamesTCParticipant This topic spurred me to check his wikipedia page. On seeing it was locked I decided to check the history. It was vandalised. A lot. One such vandalisation replaced every instance of “Norman” with “Normoan”. Another states “They all received negative reviews, and ”The Young Ones” was almost cancelled because of his appearance” and adds to the section about his early career where he was a maintenance worker “His work on coffee machines was considered to be “more productive than anything he has done since”. January 12, 2012 at 9:53 pm in reply to: Norman L.O.Lovett #114213 JamesTCParticipant Here is the tweet. You’ll be able to see it if you sign out of twitter (or if you aren’t blocked by her). January 12, 2012 at 8:38 pm in reply to: Stuff that may excite #114208 JamesTCParticipant Shitcock January 12, 2012 at 8:17 pm in reply to: Norman L.O.Lovett #114205 JamesTCParticipant Didn’t Kitty Lovett tweet Si recently after, presumably, searching the name on Twitter? Or do I need to study this diagram more? You didn’t dream it up. January 12, 2012 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Norman L.O.Lovett #114196 JamesTCParticipant Yeah, he was brilliant in BTE. January 10, 2012 at 12:09 am in reply to: The One Jasper Carrott Rob & Doug Writing #114147 JamesTCParticipant They used to write for him so it probably means that they have re-used old material. January 9, 2012 at 9:24 pm in reply to: Something’s Coming #114135 JamesTCParticipant New teaser picture. January 9, 2012 at 7:38 pm in reply to: Something’s Coming #114128 JamesTCParticipant If I’m honest that has zapped a little enthusiasm away. I know it is thirty five weeks away so they need to save a lot back to keep excitement up but enthusiasm is running on empty with rehashed pictures like that. Posting the picture like the one on Friday was would have been better, just posting as an extra treat rather than as some big thing we should look forward to. Especially bad on a day when rehearsal is cancelled so NOTHING is happening at all (at least it seems that way for outside observers). :( January 9, 2012 at 4:28 pm in reply to: Something’s Coming #114108 JamesTCParticipant >Should have a few more heads up in the coming weeks. More heads up in the coming weeks means more reveals in the coming weeks! January 7, 2012 at 1:35 am in reply to: Red Dwarf X – Speculation and Theories #114082 JamesTCParticipant Doug said at the time they were doing the mask test with the BTE version (as shown in that video Dave put up), “Kryten mask test today. Learned a lot. Back to drawing board”. The BTE mask did look a little odd around the eyes, I thought. Though from that little glimpse it seems like the new mask is a little dark around the eyes. Still we should wait for a proper look until we start criticising. Also while searching for the above quote I found this funny tweet that I missed him originally post, it was in response to a person asking him if Duane Dibbley would be back, “I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t.” January 6, 2012 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf X – Speculation and Theories #114079 JamesTCParticipant Exclusive new image to be revealed tomorrow! Also, follow Roopesh Parekh on twitter, he is the Marketing and Behind the Scenes Producer for the new series. January 6, 2012 at 7:38 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf X – Speculation and Theories #114076 JamesTCParticipant If you pause when it first comes onto Danny and Chris you can see quite a bit of Rob in the full Kryten outfit. Bigger shoulders. January 6, 2012 at 4:34 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf X – Speculation and Theories #114063 JamesTCParticipant Exclusive on location clip will appear on the Dave website at 5pm. January 6, 2012 at 3:09 pm in reply to: T-Shirts for Sale #114059 JamesTCParticipant >> Mens Large. > I’d go for that. Ooh Matron. January 4, 2012 at 12:27 am in reply to: Somebody is selling their Red Dwarf tickets #114017 JamesTCParticipant [removed picture] It is over now so the picture can be taken down. January 3, 2012 at 10:47 pm in reply to: Somebody is selling their Red Dwarf tickets #114026 JamesTCParticipant And he got in before the tickets were sold thankfully so there isn’t a poor sap out there with an invalid ticket and a hole in their wallet. January 3, 2012 at 9:26 pm in reply to: Somebody is selling their Red Dwarf tickets #114020 JamesTCParticipant >She’s claimed that the ticket is cancelled Hurray! January 3, 2012 at 9:16 pm in reply to: 2012: Year Of The Dwarf (or: Happy New Year) #114018 JamesTCParticipant It all shows up for me. Try this link. January 3, 2012 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Somebody is selling their Red Dwarf tickets #114013 JamesTCParticipant She has now even deleted the tweet I got a print screen of. I hope that means she is not selling the tickets now. January 3, 2012 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Somebody is selling their Red Dwarf tickets #114012 JamesTCParticipant It seems she has cottoned on that you shouldn’t sell them and has deleted some tweets. I have print screened one of them in which she still mentions she has been offered £50. January 3, 2012 at 5:20 pm in reply to: Red Dwarf X – Speculation and Theories #114011 JamesTCParticipant We never actually seen Archie, it is probably that. January 1, 2012 at 12:59 am in reply to: 2012: Year Of The Dwarf (or: Happy New Year) #113969 JamesTCParticipant 2012: The year Red Dwarf X airs and the year Red Dwarf XI is commissioned. Should be good. December 31, 2011 at 9:49 am in reply to: Red Dwarf X – Speculation and Theories #113951 JamesTCParticipant >The talk about episode 1 showing something to do with Rimmer that’s been referred to previously – any ideas? Rimmer’s brother Frank? It does seem odd that we haven’t heard anything about a Starbug set. Maybe it isn’t being built until the new year for the last 4 episodes. December 24, 2011 at 1:52 pm in reply to: Anyone have a spare ticket? #113825 JamesTCParticipant He did going by twitter. December 22, 2011 at 11:19 pm in reply to: Anyone have a spare ticket? #113798 JamesTCParticipant >Maybe i’ll even come and join you guys for a beer before the filming – whats the worst that can happen eh? I’ll grab a beer! That sounds like a good idea, hang back at the pub out the way of causing a disturbance but close enough to rush in and catch filming should Doug tweet the magic words.
