Nothing can beat the commentaries on The Simpsons and Futurama, I just finished listening to the commentary for The Wild Green Yonder, as interesting and funny as ever though Billy West wasn’t on it, shame, it might be the last Futurama commentary ever!

Series V and VI had the best commentary, ‘Holoship’ especially was very funny, Craig Charles wasn’t present but Chris Barrie made it seem as if he was!

I have finished ‘The Romans’, I quite liked it, not as good as the other historical stories like ‘The Aztecs’ but still highly entertaining and very funny, especially episode 3, I was laughing like an idiot at Nero.

I can recommend ‘The Rescue’, it is a wonderful little story, a teeny tiny cast with only about 4 new sets built. The crashed space ship reminds me of the Nova 5 too.

Me too, I was up till 2 and then I thought “Right, time to really get some sleep, I am up in five hours” so I slapped on the Adam and Joe podcast but it was too funny to go to sleep, that was an hour, I then put on one of the Dwarf audio books which was another hour before I went to sleep, 2 hours and 50 minutes sleep, when I woke up I felt great for some strange reason, I feel like shit now.

I always watch the xtended version of BITR now, I see an obvious improvement in the story, it flows better and the odd extra joke here and there goes a long way.

I just can’t agree that getting to earth is the end of Dwarf, it may be Lister’s goal since day one but we also know that Lister is on Red Dwarf when he is 170 odd in ‘Future Echoes’, I think it is more of a ‘Backwards’ the book type situation were Lister realises his home is not earth anymore, it is that big ugly red rock.

Series IX could just be the gang going through space in Red Dwarf away from earth, either that or at the end of the specials the thing that sent them to earth also sends them back to Deep Space.

New Dwarf has been met with negativity? On IMDB I have has new Dwarf as my signature since it was announced and it is always met with suprise then bliss, I love spreading the word.

He is much better on audio (he is voted #1 on audio out of the 4 audio Doctors) but he certainly has some classic on screen stories too, ‘Trial of a Time Lord’ shows how good a Doctor he is. ‘Revelation of the Daleks’ didn’t have much of the Doctor in it because Eric Saward didn’t like Colin Baker and so didn’t write much for him, Peri is my favourite companion along with Evelyn Smyth, Peri is certainly interesting, you should see her in ‘Planet of Fire’ and ‘Attack of the Cybermen’! David X Coen is fantastic in the commentaries. The commentaries on The Simpsons and Futurama make those DVD’s worth a buy, it us why I payed ?13 for ‘Benders Game’ the day it came out, I would not have payed that much just for the main feature. Does anyone know if they are making more Futurama? Hopefully not more films, seperate episodes work much better for both Futurama and The Simpsons.

I feel sorry for ya Si, I can’t imagine that happening to me, the only time I ever went to hospital was when I was in Primary School and walked into a wall, slip my leg open.
I have fainted though back when I was in High School, I said to my Dad “I can;t go into school I feel sick” and he told me I had to (I am not one to just say I am sick for a day off). I got through the day and in the night in Bootle Town Hall we had an award evening, I got one for attendance, they made us all stand up for 45 minuted as they praised some kid, I was really sick, nothing to lean on and was stud up for 45 minutes infront of about 700 people (possibly more), I fainted, I woke up about 40 seconds later with loads of people around me dazed and confused, the nest thing I remember is being in the car outside Sainsburys. So there you have it, the one time I faint and it is infront of 700 people including half of my school. Rather ironic thinking about it, I fainted while getting an award for attendance which caused me to have the next day off, my first day off High School.
