Following the recent revelation that The Naylors’ new sitcom would be co-produced by Baby Cow, many of us were pondering whether this had any implications for the future of Grant Naylor Productions and/or Red Dwarf. It seems like it might, as even the most cursory of Google searches – for “baby cow red dwarf” – reveals some pretty interesting results.
More rumblings about the Naylors’ non-Dwarfy project, which is a relief considering we spent an hour watching The Alan Titchmarsh Show the other day in anticipation of a non-existent announcement. Naylor Minor today unveiled Three Feet Productions, a new production company founded by the father and son team, and presumably named after the total number of non-prosthetic lower leg appendages owned by the pair of them.
Amid all the optimism about 2012 from everyone in the Red Dwarf community, it’s with a heavy heart we start off the year learning of the sad death of Jo Howard who, on the 21st October last year, was lost to cancer.
And now a brief intermission from the regular scheduled SILENCE.
Also: Ed would make a great Doctor Who.
