I think Craig’s Q&A at DJ XV was fantastic. He went out of his way to include the crowd and work the room. Even stopping to speak to the people too shy to stick thier hands in the air!

It’s been a while since I truly enjoyed any sketch show. Sure, I’ve found odd sketches or characters funny on various shows, but never really enjoyed a whole show!

Batman, Spawn and Thor with a wild card of Plastic Man.

I’m very happy with this…although I must admit. I’ve never really been interested by Thor. Perhaps I should look into the character a bit…

I’ve been searching the internets for articles on forgotten UK comedies. Loads of articles on the subject and even they’ve forgotten about this!

I like the way we can judge how terrible something was by whether it has you tube clips or not!

    “How bad is it?”

    >”It?s not even on youtube, that?s how bad it is. I can?t seem to find any clips of it at all.”

I think there is a conspiracy against Red Dwarf and Dave TV. All of these shows are from the terrestrial channels…..especially the pre 1990 ones!

I’d double check. I’ve got a VERY bad history when it comes to “Red Dwarf” and “Facts”. Thats why I always try to name the source of the info now. Try and shift the blame a little…

Is that the one where Arnie steps from the screen, discovers he is a movie character and in true Bladerunner traditions, tries to track down his creator to plead for more life?

According to http://reddwarf.wikia.com/wiki/Dave_Lister (so it must be true)

    >……the adult Lister traveled back in time to leave his baby self under a pool table in the Aigburth Arms pub in Liverpool in the year 2155, thereby completing a predestination paradox. His official birthday was14 October,

He was 25 in Future Echoes so according to that, 2180 would be roughly right…..However, I know that we get inconsistencies throughout…he refers to himself as an “enlightened 23rd Century guy” in DNA and Stasis Leak gives the year of 2077……I think…..

Personally, I’d go for 25th Century in keeping with Red Dwarf traditions of making it up. :)

This movie is coming with lots of hype…most of it that I’ve heard is people who say they don’t think it’ll be any good. Usually a sign of an excellant film on the horizon……expectations not being dashed and all that….

    meh!….we’ll see….

    >the animation is a bit lacking and i think the problem with this is the designs – they are simply too complicated they look more like comic book drawings than cartoon drawings and I think more simplistic designs would help with this(simpsons, clerks, family guy etc.. all have less detailed designs)

I seriously disagree with this Pete. I saw the “SouthPark” style ones you did and this is infinately better than those….and I liked those!

Red Dwarf maybe prising us apart! It’s something we used to watch together in our teens that I thought she genuinly liked….now she can’t stand it. And she can’t stand how ecstatic I was when I returned from DJ XV with news of the newly commisioned scripts! She thinks I didn’t miss her or our 2 girls!

I’d thought she might have warmed to it again….I mean, it’s even got a Coronation Street star in it!

    Yes, unloadable on mine too.

My opinion of the schedule changes over the weekend (for what they’re worth!) Loved them. I’d accidently booked a train ticket a couple of hours too early and would have missed Chloe’s appearance. Her early arrival on stage was such a relief. When I read that Craig, Danny and Chloe would all be on in the morning, I was so relieved!

Other changes were fine. I easily spotted changes, the update boards were clearly displayed. Only worry I had was when Hattie didn’t do her signing and we knew she had to leave Saturday. What a trooper to return the way she did! I think I love Hattie!

I must admit, I suffered from hair envy! I was sporting the “gel it all to the middle” style in the hope that people wouldn’t notice how thin my hair had become……sort of modern day version of the comb over!

I was so uncertain about parking that I opted for Mr Capps idea of a train. Actually worked out cheaper than the NCP……plus the Mrs has stopped giving me grief about not having a car and not being able to buy food from the supermarket.
