Am I still the sites cunt? I did once have an image of Iain Lee posted as a representative of me due to the lack of my image available at the time. And with the newly signed Iain Lee peace treaty, I was just wondering…

It’s actually quite good. A decent and relatively original take on the zombie story

He’s like the worlds crappyest internet troll or something. Is anybody else reminded a little of Doctor Evil demanding “ONE MILLION DOLLARS” and being laughed at by the world leaders? Or maybe Plankton from Spongebob….So menacing in his own head only, but not really significant….at all.

[MySarcasticMockingVoice] I made a few threads that you had to delete on TOS forums Sebby! And I posted this thread on here Sebby….How do you like them apples!! Because I’m not done you know….Soon I will create more threads for you to delete! And you can’t stop me…Mwahahahaha! [/MySarcasticMockingVoice]

Well, with the exception of people I had already met before and Alex from Gazpacho/Garbage Podcast, i didn’t recognise any of you and nobody recognised or bothered to introduced themselves to me….you fuckers! Where were the name badges? :-)

I shaved all my hair off and grew a long straggley beard to make myself instantly recognisable…I’ll also probably be spending a lot of the convention time out in the main public hotel bar area with my wife and kids…Only 50% of my family are actually attending the event (including myself). The other two are officially ‘shopping’. I think it may have been cheaper to just get us all tickets!

Confirmation via the best Power Rangers forum out there. That’s good enough for me…..Can’t wait to see the now confirmed 6 episodes of series XI. I hope they get the rest of the crew signed up though. It wouldn’t seem right just Craig Charles on his own…

If 2015 were to be officially announced as the year, I would pencil 2015 in as probably the best year of my life! What with that and new Star Wars on the way…And with the way my life usually works out, I would make a second prediction that the world will end in 2014. I just never have good years like that…

I thought the Series V one was blown to smithereens? Now I need to rewatch in slow-mo.

I also wonder if any of the reasonable sized chunks of the original were put to one side for possible use on other future model building projects?

Quick question. I’ve not watched Freaks for ages. And I mean like years…I remember it being a movie that showed that outward appearances don’t matter and that the true monsters of the piece are actually the beautiful ones. Am I remembering this correctly? Or is it actually an absolutely offensive to hell movie of its era?

I thînk the 18+ ruling is probably just from the venue rather than the cast themselves. I’ve only ever been in on a Friday or Saturday, but it’s fair sized busy kinda place. Often with a live band…

Not watched yet to check. But I have just found a free to download and use extension for Chrome and Firefox that allows access to blocked websites without the need of changing DNS. Also works for the US dwellers to watch the BBC iPlayer.

I’m guessing that’ll be my top. I can’t put my finger on exactly why it is my favourite episode. I certainly wouldn’t claim it to be the ‘best’ episode. But it is my personal favourite…I think it’s just the character of Confidence.

I tended to go with personal favourite than best. Not always the same thing I reckon

The McIntyre bit is in the Unabridged…but I can’t remember about the plant

The abridged IWCD omits all the Me2 parts and cat and Lister off mining….and the death of all the Skutters. Also cuts out a lot from Lister’s life in hell borrowing Hopper’s and returning them and that.

I loved Sword Of Sodan on the Amiga back in the day…Especially that one time it crashed and I couldn’t die and I was able to stroll through the whole thing. That day was good.

It could have been better if ‘Mamma’ had cooked breakfast with no hog though…

Lucasfilm will be continuing as it’s own company with Kathleen Kennedy becoming company president (recently employed as the Co-Chairman of Lucasfilm)

So, as far as i can see, it’s a similar scenario to the Marvel or Pixar. Which can’t be a bad thing.

I actually introduced my eldest daughter to Ghostwatch a couple of weeks back as part of our “watch horror with Daddy” tuesday nights. She really enjoyed it. Although she couldn’t understand why people were actually scared by it. I had to explain again about people (myself included) being mistaken by thinking it was actually a real documentary. I had to explain who Sarah Green was, who ‘Parky’ was and everything.

I think she got it in the end. Just played her the trailer for the making of….she’s looking forward to that now!

Incidently, the Red Dwarf Introcast are going to do a special episode for christmas in which they watch a non-Dwarf episode to see what the ‘new comers’ think about it. They are looking at shows from around the same era as the shows they are currently reviewing. The four they’ve opted for are-
    Ghostwatch (Craig Charles link)
    Bottom (Robert Llewellyn link)
    Britas empire (Chris Barrie link)
Maid Marian & her Merry Men (DJJ link)

These have been put up on their facebook page as a poll….Ghostwatch is currently third.

The Dave commisioning of the scripts for RDX was ‘unofficially’ announced at DJXV. Not long after BtE aired in 2009…Seems weird that, after the apparent rush of BtE with it’s non-too distant deadlines and such, that RDX didn’t get aired until the latter part of 2012.

I wonder if this 3 year cycle may become the norm for Red Dwarf. RDXI in 2015 anyone?
