I’d love to have a go at this (especially considering the large quantities of beer and toblerone that seem to be involved), but I’m sure I wouldn’t be up to 26 hours straight. I’ve never even managed a Lord of the Rings marathon, and that’s only a mere 12 hours.
My problem’s not brain-dead but butt-dead – I just can’t bear to sit for that long.

I just noticed that the sizes for the women’s contrast T’s only go up to a 33″ chest, which is not going to be big enough for many people (by contrast, the ladies’ dark T’s go from a 32″ to 38″).
It may be worth offering the same slogans on a plain white or coloured shirt?

A little too much fanwank (they could have cut most of the last 20 minutes and the show would have been better for it), and so many references that seem to have just been thrown in for the hell of it.
In the end, I was too busy wishing he would just get on with it to find his demise particularly moving.
But, that said, I still enjoyed it :-)

For me the star of the show was Cribbins, and the Cribbins/Ten scenes on the Cactus ship were genuinely moving.
I think I may have had something in my eye at that point *sniff*

I was almost hoping that Wilf would stay on as companion for the next few eps. He would have been fantastic.

The thing with Victoria Wood is that she’s a very talented writer and she can be very funny indeed, but I’m not convinced that the Christmas special is the best vehicle for her.

There seemed to be a deliberately odd feel to this episode. Not that that’s a bad thing; it feels like we’re being set up for a great finale. Very exciting. I love that I haven’t the faintest clue where this is all going now.
