Classic Alan. It’s also got the cringe factor back. July 22, 2013 at 7:17 am in reply to: Confused.cunts #208829 MANI506Participant I noticed the heroic music from Trojan cropping up in an advert this week. Think it was for a credit card. As you were. July 9, 2013 at 10:00 am in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #208711 MANI506Participant The Movie Yeah No Yeah No is a classic of our time I agree. July 8, 2013 at 10:52 pm in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #208707 MANI506Participant My general feeling is that VII was a good idea not always executed well and VIII was just bad. I get so annoyed by how uncritical the VIII documentary is. Norman is the only voice of sanity in the commentary. The VII DVD is frank and honest and one of the best. July 5, 2013 at 4:32 pm in reply to: Google search terms #208672 MANI506Participant I’ll be getting drunk alone. July 4, 2013 at 9:05 pm in reply to: Happy birthday, Danny! #208667 MANI506Participant Just watched it again. Marvellous. July 4, 2013 at 5:40 pm in reply to: Happy birthday, Danny! #208663 MANI506Participant Lovely stuff! My favourite song of all time. July 4, 2013 at 5:36 pm in reply to: Holly (not Hilly) interested in Red Dwarf return? #208662 MANI506Participant Bring back Norman and Hattie for one episode. I’m sure Doug can write around that one. June 28, 2013 at 9:36 am in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #208551 MANI506Participant They are loving Stoke Me A Clipper! June 24, 2013 at 3:34 pm in reply to: Idiot fan moments before the Internet? #208391 MANI506Participant I still don’t truly know who Pat Boone is. June 24, 2013 at 10:30 am in reply to: PEACE IN OUR TIME #208383 MANI506Participant Probably best not to get P2P productions to do a photoshop of that one. June 19, 2013 at 10:36 pm in reply to: Iany S #208314 MANI506Participant All the call kids call it REDDwarf June 19, 2013 at 10:08 pm in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #208312 MANI506Participant Really looking forward to the Tikka To Ride episode! The quiz episode was great as well. If you haven’t subscribed then now is the time! June 7, 2013 at 10:26 pm in reply to: Question for those who saw an episode (or more) filmed #208162 MANI506Participant Surely These Are Pineapple Chunks. Oh, Bit This Must Be Gravy Powder and Bollocks This Is Custard Powder And I’ll Deck Anyone Who Says It Isn’t. June 5, 2013 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Does anyone still own an Atari? #208108 MANI506Participant I was so jealous of my mate’s Atari ST. I used to love Robocod. I was a Spectrum 48K user. June 4, 2013 at 7:18 pm in reply to: Arrested Development…worth it? #208094 MANI506Participant I’m on episode 8 but this has been a useful reminder as to what is going on. I think one of the reasons I’m not laughing so much is because seasons 1 and 2 were watched with a group whereas these episodes I’m watching on my own. We abandoned season 3 a few episodes in I remember. June 4, 2013 at 7:04 pm in reply to: Arrested Development…worth it? #208093 MANI506Participant Cheers! I’ll look now…. June 4, 2013 at 9:05 am in reply to: Arrested Development…worth it? #208087 MANI506Participant Any more Noiseless Chatter reviews Phil? I’m up to episode 7 and I’m enjoying it although I’m only laughing two or three times an episode. May 28, 2013 at 6:41 pm in reply to: The Name of The Doctor #208042 MANI506Participant I make it The Crimson Horror. May 24, 2013 at 10:03 pm in reply to: The Name of The Doctor #208008 MANI506Participant I zoned out and imagined what Pete Part Three would have been like. No worse than Only The Good I guess. May 24, 2013 at 4:47 pm in reply to: The Name of The Doctor #208003 MANI506Participant As a casual viewer I thought the first episode this year was amazing, the Mark Gatiss one (Crimson Horror with Diana Rigg) was his personal best the last episode was very enjoyable. The others I either can’t remember or didn’t like. One thing I will say is that the theme tune sounds amazing on head phones. This was the first time I’ve downloaded to the iPhone. May 23, 2013 at 8:41 pm in reply to: Johnny H #207992 MANI506Participant Why not visit John’s excellent Dirty Feed Tumblr to celebrate? Please… try the fish. May 23, 2013 at 7:40 pm in reply to: Question for those who saw an episode (or more) filmed #207987 MANI506Participant Listen butter pat head! May 17, 2013 at 6:13 am in reply to: Worlds End #207460 MANI506Participant Yeah, I know what you mean. There was no need for the slasher elements in Hot Fuzz or at least they could have been toned down a bit. I’m guessing Edgar Wright just loves a bit of slop. May 16, 2013 at 7:27 pm in reply to: Sebby P #207424 MANI506Participant Canard beak is evil. Much better off with a bottle of rum and a cigarette. May 16, 2013 at 7:24 pm in reply to: Sebby P #207423 MANI506Participant Si cleansed the atmos by reminding us of an excellent KLF track. May 16, 2013 at 5:23 am in reply to: Goitless #207355 MANI506Participant Brilliant effort and execution. Looks like this DJ really upped the ante on the Friday and Sunday compared to the years I’ve been. May 15, 2013 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Phil Silvers Chimp #207336 MANI506Participant I have lots of faith in Ed Bye being hilarious in an interview situation. May 9, 2013 at 6:50 pm in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #207231 MANI506Participant More the merrier! I certainly loved this episode on first broadcast. I was gagging for it and as far as I was concerned it delivered in spades. The rest of the series not so much although there are fantastic moments. As mentioned in the G&T podcast, the opening montage is first class! May 9, 2013 at 5:55 pm in reply to: Worlds End #207229 MANI506Participant Yeah that’s the one! May 9, 2013 at 5:29 pm in reply to: Worlds End #207227 MANI506Participant I think there’s an Easter Egg music video on the VIII DVD set at The World’s End in Camden with Craig, Danny and Norman. In fact I’m sure there is. May 9, 2013 at 10:33 am in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #207210 MANI506Participant My gut feeling is that they’re going to love Tikka To Ride with some reservations about the models. I also fully expect them to spot the continuity fuck up straight away. May 9, 2013 at 4:42 am in reply to: This is a Dwarfcast….or is it? #207203 MANI506Participant This has been a very interesting podcast, but it’s about to get a whole lot more interesting as they work their way through 7 and 8! May 9, 2013 at 4:39 am in reply to: Dimension Jump XVII #207202 MANI506Participant Nostradamus and his flighty horse predicts… RDXI filmed towards the end of 2014, RDXI broadcast Autumn 2014, DJ XVIII April 2015. Some just might say that I just took the RDX, DJXVII schedule and shifted it forward two years. May 8, 2013 at 7:47 pm in reply to: IT Crowd Series 4 #207193 MANI506Participant I tried to get tickets for series 4 but failed, I’ll try harder this time! May 8, 2013 at 3:57 pm in reply to: Worlds End #207181 MANI506Participant Paul wasn’t terrible but this should be up to standard because Wright is back. May 8, 2013 at 3:25 pm in reply to: IT Crowd Series 4 #207179 MANI506Participant Best episodes are The Red Door, The Work Outing, Are We Not Men and The Final Countdown. I often do a Matt Berry impression when there’s somebody at the door. Can’t wait to see this! Anyone on G&T blagging tickets to the recording? May 8, 2013 at 3:21 pm in reply to: Worlds End #207178 MANI506Participant Brilliant, this and the Partridge movie are must sees this year. May 5, 2013 at 5:24 pm in reply to: A thread for non-DJers. #207125 MANI506Participant That’s why I did Performing Arts at college, we had the same boy-girl ratio! I failed to get off with any of them or even get one of them to hold it for a bit. Just got back from the wedding and catching up with latest DJ news. New Dwarf Cast – yes please! May 3, 2013 at 12:54 pm in reply to: A thread for non-DJers. #207098 MANI506Participant Seeing the excellent Timmy Moore Trio play their heavy blues in Maidstone tonight. Then off to Cheltenham for a wedding and a bit of a disco. I have already promised myself that I am 100% going to the next DJ! May 3, 2013 at 12:51 pm in reply to: Dimension Jump XVII #207097 MANI506Participant Fix him! Fix him with the time wand! May 2, 2013 at 5:05 pm in reply to: Dimension Jump XVII #207087 MANI506Participant Looking forward to hearing all your reactions to the weekend. Obviously hoping for big news from Doug. Wish I could be there but through G & T hoping to bask in some reflected glory! April 29, 2013 at 4:37 am in reply to: Dimension Jump XVII #207056 MANI506Participant I made life long friendships at DJ 97. If I hadn’t gone my life would literally be very different. Wonder how my Ace is getting on. April 26, 2013 at 8:57 am in reply to: Dimension Jump XVII #207042 MANI506Participant My wife to be will understand (I am funny). April 26, 2013 at 8:56 am in reply to: Dimension Jump XVII #207041 MANI506Participant ONE WEEK TO GO! I’m not going because of a wedding but I will be glued to this site throughout the wedding service, reception and party. If that’s not rude in any way. April 20, 2013 at 6:40 pm in reply to: RED DWARF QUIZ SURVEY: WE NEED YOUR HELP! #206995 MANI506Participant It was a fucking pleasure. Goitless is an excellent name for the quiz BTW If someone could list all of the punny DJ quiz names that would make me a happy man. I remember Smeggheads. April 5, 2013 at 9:15 am in reply to: Norm’s post-Dwarf tell-all #206913 MANI506Participant I find the Father Ted picture hilarious Alex. March 31, 2013 at 2:28 am in reply to: Television Centre Closure #206873 MANI506Participant I watched Captain Butler go out on broadcast cos I am cool. March 27, 2013 at 9:35 pm in reply to: Television Centre Closure #206852 MANI506Participant Oh, I’m slightly gutted that the VHS is a best of but I suppose it’s a good way to ease me into the series. The series one DVD was about thirty quid so I’ve left it for now. March 27, 2013 at 8:43 am in reply to: Television Centre Closure #206847 MANI506Participant I just bought series 1 of Stuff on VHS. Unusually for a video released in the late 80s it seems to have the whole series on one tape. Hope the tracking’s ok.
