April 20, 2009 at 4:46 pm in reply to: G & T on Smegazines? #97654 NakrophileParticipant I have no idea what happened to my Sonic the Comic’s. I had quite a lot of them, and I know I wouldn’t have thrown them away because Sonic is an amazing person. April 20, 2009 at 4:43 pm in reply to: Remastered – Laugh Track #97653 NakrophileParticipant Befuddlement occurs. April 20, 2009 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Remastered – Laugh Track #97645 NakrophileParticipant It’s the fact that there is a laugh in a bit that is laugh free in the other ten times that sequence is shown that really… befuddles me. Obviously it is just a mistake, but… April 20, 2009 at 12:46 pm in reply to: dr who best sci fi theme tune. guess what came 2nd #97626 NakrophileParticipant So Buffy was no. 4? Fucking hell, it’s just a bit of guitar isn’t it (assuming this poll included the ending theme for Dwarf, to avoid being a hypocrite which I clearly am not)? Mind you I haven’t seen Buffy for years so it may be quite good. April 20, 2009 at 12:37 pm in reply to: J. G. Ballard has died #97625 NakrophileParticipant Mmm. :( RIP, good sir. April 19, 2009 at 7:31 pm in reply to: Remastered – Laugh Track #97594 NakrophileParticipant Speaking of laughter tracks, that laugh in Holly’s intro to Rimmer (the one at the start of I and II) in either Waiting for God or Confidence and Paranoia always befuddled me. I can’t remember if it’s in the original, remastered or both, but it always befuddled me. April 18, 2009 at 6:44 pm in reply to: Which Holly? #97465 NakrophileParticipant Don’t be stupid. April 18, 2009 at 6:40 pm in reply to: Which Holly? #97463 NakrophileParticipant Jeremy Clarkson. April 18, 2009 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Prelude To Nanarchy is now definitely non-canon, right? #97462 NakrophileParticipant I’m still sticking that it’s from BtR, and if I need to say that the nanobots recreated the squid that that’s precisely what I’m going to do. April 18, 2009 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Best of each series? #97443 NakrophileParticipant I: Future Echoes II: Thanks for the Memory III: Marooned IV: Dimension Jump V: The Inuisitor VI: Out of Time VII: Tikka VIII: Cassandra BtE: part 2 I guess, although I doubt I’ll even think of it as a trilogy when the DVD arrives. April 18, 2009 at 5:44 pm in reply to: Prelude To Nanarchy is now definitely non-canon, right? #97441 NakrophileParticipant I can’t believe this is still being discussed. It’s not obvious (well actually it is for me, but I guess it isn’t implicitly stated) that it’s the same ocean from BtR, but it’s pretty welcome to that kind of assumption. April 18, 2009 at 5:42 pm in reply to: Nice touches you noticed in Back To Earth #97440 NakrophileParticipant > It?s better than Moonraker! There is not much in this world that is better than Moonraker. April 18, 2009 at 5:35 pm in reply to: A new series – costumes? #97438 NakrophileParticipant That black and moustache one is about as good as life gets. April 17, 2009 at 10:50 am in reply to: The ENTIRELY Warranted Series X Speculation Thread. #97271 NakrophileParticipant Haha sorry. April 17, 2009 at 10:21 am in reply to: The ENTIRELY Warranted Series X Speculation Thread. #97265 NakrophileParticipant So it was ‘homo?’ Not ‘dick fucker,’ ‘cunt shite,’ ‘bitch whore’ or ‘rape face?’ Disappointing. April 17, 2009 at 10:04 am in reply to: Those two kids on the bus, who talk to Lister … #97262 NakrophileParticipant Wait, I just remembered the bits with them as younglings… and although my memory is bad I can’t see a similarity, particularly with Tim. April 17, 2009 at 9:50 am in reply to: Prelude To Nanarchy is now definitely non-canon, right? #97261 NakrophileParticipant > I just re-watched Part 3. Cat specifically mentions that he got the Joy Squid from the ocean planet all those years ago. As they didn?t actually make it back to the ocean planet on their return trip in Nanarchy, this means that logically Cat must have brought it back to the Dwarf following the events of BTR, where it promptly escaped. I knew it! April 16, 2009 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Digital Spy: Should Red Dwarf Return Again? #97171 NakrophileParticipant > This confused me on the first viewing but it seemed that when Lister believed they were fictional characters played by actors, Chloe appeared to be his best shot. Upon his realisation that it was a hallucination he was able to get Kochanski? but if this was really a hallucination where he would be happy, shouldn?t he have been able to get Kochanski there all along? That’s what I assumed would happen at first, as when he was reading that magazine with Chloe’s interview he still thought she was dead. Later when Kochakski appeared he knew it wasn’t real and he also knew she was still alive, thus it was Kochanksi he imagined. April 16, 2009 at 2:22 pm in reply to: Alien 3 #97101 NakrophileParticipant Who wants to get the fuck off of this boat LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL OMG April 16, 2009 at 11:12 am in reply to: Back to Earth > ? #97042 NakrophileParticipant teh winnorz > bte > teh suxxorz But final judgement waits for the DVD. April 16, 2009 at 11:06 am in reply to: The ENTIRELY Warranted Series X Speculation Thread. #97040 NakrophileParticipant > I?d love to see a time-travel episode with them revisiting the events of a Series 1 / 2 story – Trials & Tribbleations style. They could revisit the episode Kryten and someone could ask the actual Kryten why he looks so different, to which he should reply that it is a long story. April 16, 2009 at 10:53 am in reply to: Wait a minute….this isn’t my fantasy! #97035 NakrophileParticipant Well wasn’t it made clear that the joy squid was from the same ocean as the despair squid? I thought words were said to that effect… I know it’s not impossible, but how likely it it that they took Starbug down to the bottom of another ocean on another planet that also had a ship/station on its bed, and the staff there had also been conducting genetic alterations with the local marine life? Same place, I say. Also, I doubt it was the ocean in Cassandra, as the ship Cassandra herself was on was down there for a completely different reason than the one in BtR. April 16, 2009 at 8:43 am in reply to: Alien 3 #97018 NakrophileParticipant The director’s cut of Alien is interesting, just a few things tightened up if you will, and an equally interesting scene with Dallas. Anyway, Alien 3 is fantastic and its reception has improved over time, I think most of the problem was the dramatic shift away from the tone of the first two films (well not so much Alien really, but you get the idea), particularly as Aliens had been so action-packed and gung-ho. It is definitely the end of the trilogy, I enjoy Resurrection a bit but fuck it in it’s stupid pointless face. April 15, 2009 at 3:01 pm in reply to: Wait a minute….this isn’t my fantasy! #96864 NakrophileParticipant > living out his fantasy of telling Lister the truth. I agree! April 15, 2009 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Wait a minute….this isn’t my fantasy! #96862 NakrophileParticipant Lister – gets his last chance to be with Kochanski, before he is told TEH TROOH. Rimmer – gets to pass off all his inadequacies by the fact someone made him up. Cat – gets to be the smart one for a change and kind of solve the riddle/make up for guilt over bring the squid on board to begin with. Kryten – hmm. April 15, 2009 at 2:41 pm in reply to: Dave asks: Should there be another series? #96855 NakrophileParticipant > Doug should feel EXTREMELY proud with himself after delivering something as great as BtE. Should there be another series? Too fucking right. BRING IT ON! ^This x10. April 15, 2009 at 2:37 pm in reply to: So… the DVD. #96853 NakrophileParticipant I forgot about that. Woe is me. April 15, 2009 at 11:47 am in reply to: So… the DVD. #96809 NakrophileParticipant We did? April 15, 2009 at 11:35 am in reply to: will the bbc take red dwarf back? #96806 NakrophileParticipant Corden and Horne are in demand now though because of Gavin & Stacey and that utter fail of a film out now, so it’s no surprise their sketch show is getting a second series. April 15, 2009 at 11:29 am in reply to: So… the DVD. #96804 NakrophileParticipant It’s been mentioned already that it will be two discs. April 15, 2009 at 11:10 am in reply to: So… the DVD. #96801 NakrophileParticipant I eagerly await traveling along the ship, past the windows and the side/dome/graveyard place, then into the ship proper, down the new corridors and into the new sleeping quarters. Also, I eagerly await floating in the water tank, going into the diving bell and up onto the surface when I put the second disc in. April 13, 2009 at 6:33 pm in reply to: Skutter glove puppets #96389 NakrophileParticipant It only looked a little too cgi, so to speak, when it was holding the hammer. April 13, 2009 at 12:31 pm in reply to: Youtube clips of Blade Runner Scenes referenced in BTE #96300 NakrophileParticipant > And ?Time to die? did indeed get quoted in part three. I’m glad that was as far as homaging/parodying the tears in rain sequence went, though. April 13, 2009 at 12:26 pm in reply to: So what’s next? #96297 NakrophileParticipant Agreed that Dough needs to forget about the film. BtE can serve as one anyway, and probably will in its feature length presumably extended form. New series please to wrap things up. April 13, 2009 at 12:19 pm in reply to: Back to Earth now has a laugh track!….. #96295 NakrophileParticipant Eh, it’s alright but the show really didn’t need it. April 12, 2009 at 10:01 pm in reply to: so…. which rimmer is it ? #96216 NakrophileParticipant As far as I’m concerned, for me it?s definitely our Rimmer, i.e I-VII Rimmer. I know that VIII Rimmer would have been around in Lister?s life about as much (not counting deep sleeps), if not longer, but when the development is off screen it isn?t the same. That was definitely our Rimmer right there, aside from the fact it blatantly is from a couple of his comments (Polymorph, despair squid) for the most part it just felt like it was him. No no, definitely our Rimmer. April 12, 2009 at 6:01 pm in reply to: Lister and Kochanski ending speculation #96163 NakrophileParticipant Chloe will appear as herself. I called it. It will either be horribly rushed or we’ll see a return to the packed-full eps of the first few series. April 12, 2009 at 5:13 pm in reply to: She didn’t see that coming did she? I did. #96149 NakrophileParticipant > Since the ?pleasure and pain responses remain the same? for a hardlight hologram, and he has just directly inflicted whatever large amount of pain would be associated with being struck by (if not dragged by) at least one high-speed automobile on her, yeah, I?d say it?s as harsh as it looked. Yeah, it is pretty painful. Anyway, she’ll be back, I have no doubt. I also have no problem with that scene. April 12, 2009 at 5:08 pm in reply to: Those two kids on the bus, who talk to Lister … #96147 NakrophileParticipant How on earth did you come to the conclusion they were similar to Tim and Daisy? I did like them regardless, though. April 12, 2009 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Ashes to Ashes series 2 #96146 NakrophileParticipant Oooooh. So you weren’t talking about the video I posted. Tats a relief. :) April 11, 2009 at 11:24 pm in reply to: BtE merchandising #95972 NakrophileParticipant > It looked to me like a real Smart Car model with green paint on it. Yeah, there were no extra bits on i like the stabilisers and such. April 11, 2009 at 10:28 pm in reply to: Ashes to Ashes series 2 #95954 NakrophileParticipant What? April 11, 2009 at 9:59 pm in reply to: doug naylor: “well, I am confident that everyone will despise me on Saturday! I’m really, really confident” #95946 NakrophileParticipant Only criminals get that. But not murderers. April 11, 2009 at 9:47 pm in reply to: Norm’s post-Dwarf tell-all #95942 NakrophileParticipant I’d love to kiss Robert in his face. April 11, 2009 at 1:55 pm in reply to: a good cliffhanger ending? #95812 NakrophileParticipant I would want something similar. Although actually I would prefer some clarification as to which Rimmer this is, or even a mention of I-VII Rimmer (which I highly doubt will happen). April 11, 2009 at 1:49 pm in reply to: a good cliffhanger ending? #95810 NakrophileParticipant The ‘previously on…’ shouldn’t be any more than a minute and a half tops, really. I mean there really isn’t that much to recap. 9 years later (maybe the grave scene) Dimension-hopping leviathan. Katerina. Threat to Rimmer. Portal. Go. April 10, 2009 at 10:19 pm in reply to: POSSIBLY SPOILERY Back To Earth predictions #95751 NakrophileParticipant “Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Listy.” April 10, 2009 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Back to Earth in-character retail vids! #95750 NakrophileParticipant Don’t PS3’s have Blu-ray? I sure hope so. I’ll buy both versions regardless. April 10, 2009 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Back to Earth in-character retail vids! #95719 NakrophileParticipant > The Rimmer one is good. It’s certainly a little strange. Author Replies Viewing 50 replies - 51 through 100 (of 216 total) 1 2 3 4 5
