No, Atari wasn’t Pong. But it was Saturday nights with Dad playing Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Pitfall!

Well, unless I win the lottery, I doubt I’ll be able to attend the next one. Also, if it’s 2015 and it conflicts with anything Universal might get going to mark the 30th anniversary of BTTF in Anaheim, DJ will be right out in the cold, I’m afraid. :-P

And I put them there. It’s dying.”

Now I realize what Nancy reminded me of. It’d be like if Holly could mash his programming with Rimmer’s and then make a tall robot baby with Talkie Toaster. And have it raised by Cat.

Kryten: Sir, you’re not qualified the be the shover!
Rimmer: Give it to me. I’LL be the butterer. It would be an honor. It’s the high point of my breakfast.

I never rode a camel. I did ride a horse a couple of times, but both times they were awfully tall and I was sort of afraid of falling off. I’m afraid not even a date with Chris Barrie might be enough to get me back up on one.

Sweetie, you try so hard. I don’t know what in life turned you into an angry human with no job and no friends that you can hang around here for hours hitting Submit, Submit, Submit, but I think just being you is probably its own punishment. Nothing anyone here can say to you can top that – that’s why you enjoy encouraging the continued abuse.

Well, I’m overweight, less than stunning, and short, but I take issue that I’ve accomplished nothing. I’m pretty sure publishing enough articles in 19 years to fill 20 thick paperback novels, some of which have won state and national investigative awards, is *something.* At the least it means I’ve spent loads of time in that room with the monkeys trying to accidentally produce Shakespeare, pounding on the typewriters too. ;-)

Of course, it doesn’t compare to the unparalleled skill of using an Internet forum for your personal dribble-bib, but we can all only play to our individual strengths.

OK, what the hell is Fluxx? Because I was there and I missed Fluxx, and if there was something related to BTTF that I missed out on, I’m going to have a good cry. (No, a cry has nothing to do with jet lag and being back at work, why do you ask?)

Mabel made it home OK. I’m not sure why I’m reporting the news except I was asked to by text, and apparently even while in other countries on holiday, old reporters can be drafted to … report.

Let’s hope I make it home OK too this weekend, and that fucker on the wing falls off instead of ripping through it trying to impress Captain Kirk.

I’d watch either of them play Holly again, though FWIW, I have liked Hattie a little better in the role since I first saw her doing it anyway. Norman hasn’t nearly pulled a Polanski or Chris Brown, something that renders his art less to the point I want no part of it (just IMO on those two), but from a boss’s POV, if he’s harder to work with than Hattie, I could see why he wouldn’t be hired again, if he isn’t and she is. If I have a story to assign and two talented writers, and one gives me a lot more grief, guess who gets the story?
