GNP have nothing to do with the organisation of DJ, announcements in the past have purely been lucky timing.

Doug just attended Stoke-Con-Trent, so might well do other appearances. No idea if he has any confirmed though.

I think I would appreciate the model more if it wasn’t so in your face about being a model. It didn’t fit the atmosphere at all, almost like it was shoved in with no real thought behind it. The abrupt explosion and subsequent exit didn’t help matters either, seeing as it fired the shot. Although it did take out a rather nasty little troll that was in the blast radius. Well, it would be difficult to not be in the radius when you’re trying to pork the damn thing.
Overall, big mistake by the model department. I hope they replace it with some half assed CGI when the remastered comes out.

I imagine the most significant point is the marketability. The bottom line is that they want to sell these things. The Red Dwarf fan base is small (in the grand scheme of things) as it is, and then you’re only appealing to the subset of that small group who also want to buy novelty lego sets.

This. As much as *we* all love RD, it’s not anywhere near as popular worldwise as either TBBT or Ghostbusters. I fear that the number of people in the centre in the venn diagram of RD fans and people who buy Lego sets, is probably too low to make it financially viable for Lego.

@Jo: Attention seeking?! Again?!? Where did you even get that from???

The repeated references to your modelling and the fact that I’ve seen three different profile photos on your posts in the last few days.

    Wanna know what I think?

    Nope!

I think you’re self entitled and you don’t give a shit about who you offend, as long as no one offends you.

Interesting. So you should be allowed to make insulting comments to other people on this forum, and say that they’re not decent people. You think it’s ok to call women slags. You think it’s ok to call people “retarded”, but it’s *me* that is the problem here?
I mean honestly, there are plenty of people who I wouldn’t want to offend tbh. However, I really don’t give a shit if I offend *you* and I don’t care what you think about me, so you’re partially correct.

I’m not even interested in hearing from you again. You can post snarky replies all you like but this is the last response you’ll ever get from me.

Cool! I’m good with that :)

Fuck off BDTS. You don’t get to use the I have anxiety and depression line as an excuse for using pejorative language. I like that there’s a little monitor at the side during the asteroid navigation, to show you how much further you have to go, but I’d like that on every level – it’s something that I would have liked on the Twentica levels too.

The Find Rachel level is incredibly frustrating and I’ve just given up on it for now, after much swearing. I seemed to be walking for ages and having no idea how much further I need to go (whether I’d almost made it to the end of the level, or was nowhere near), means that I’m less motivated to try again.

    I mean why wait?

Why not? Why spunk their load and then have nothing in the bag for the foreseeable?

It makes WAY more sense to air in Sept/Oct 2017, that gives them time to try and get XIII (and maybe even XIV) in motion, ready for airing in 2018. I’d far prefer a regular autumn slot for the next few years, rather than watching it all now and having nothing until 2018 or beyond.

Jo, you’re on a forum where one of the threads is asking who we think has the biggest penis out of the main cast.

PTS, you’re a patronising prick. Huge LOLZ though, that you chose a troll post to somehow defend your shitty comments. Amazing work! *slow clap*

I said bingo for a laugh, that was it.

Yeah, people often do that for no reason whatsoever.

It’s a fan forum for a telly show, don’t stress over it.

What does that have to do with anything? I know exactly where I am thanks, so you can keep your patronising twaddle to yourself.

Ian, you never got it wrong, Jo did

    Yeah, I didn’t though did I?

I’m just worried about you, it’s all got a bit serious and tense around here.

PTS – Things are referred to as being “… bingo” when they’re mentioned a lot
(Example: Anti-vaxxer bingo – “Do your research”), but then you know that and you’re obviously being obtuse.

My post wasn’t directed at you, it was in fact giving the informative response that you were apparently incapable of giving. You decided to reply anyway, not with an on topic comment about the show that *you* wanted to talk about in the first place, but with a snide remark about “triggering”, which added nothing of value to to conversation and just made it look like you were continuing to be a dick.

locusceruleus – A genuine response to your question.

A friend of mine recommended the show to me, so I asked her and she said the following:

“You don’t see it but some of the bots are victims. It’s implied rather than visual (It’s what some of them are there for, you can kill and do whatever you want with them). You see one of them thrown around and kind of old style “what I’m gonna do to you” type thing. There is a lot of nakedness when the robots are being worked on also. They are treated as objects not people. Not sure if that’s triggering.”

She also said the first episode is a pretty good example, and if you’re ok with that, you’ll be ok with the rest of it. Hope this helps!

Explaining whose kidneys were in the jar was unnecessary, they weren’t Lister’s, that’s all we need to know and most of us had figured that out anyway.

I’m baffled by those complaining about how things need to be explained more this series, and yet when they do explain various situations fully, people generally agree that it’s unnecessary and tedious.

Francine – A weird looking blue and white rabbit/person hybrid. Annoying. Keeps bitching about how my hair looks.

Greta – A little white and black Japanese (?) Mouse. She’s fine. Doesn’t do much, but does call me Shmoopy, which is a bit annoying, but better than Wonder J which Egbert started the little shit.

Sydney – A purple koala. Nice enough, but seems obsessed with finding a girlfriend.

Sylvia – Purple kangaroo. Seems dodgy. Keeps giving me suspicious gifts. When can I get a Police station and lock this one up?

Scoot – Green duck with pants on his head. Jock. Annoying. Keeps telling me I’m unfit. Next on my hitlist.

Bluebear – A blue bear shockingly! Cute, sweet, nice. I’m keeping her.

Klaus – A big grey bear. Love dancing at inappropriate moments. Excellent.

    Moved Away
Barold – a weird mole/bear looking thing who kept going on about me being his big sister.

Unless I happen to catch your tweet I don’t get time to check TOS or anything else at the moment. I barely get time to keep up with twitter I get a few hrs worth a day and that’s only because of tube WiFi.
I also didn’t see any tweets from Danny or Craig if there were any. of all the RD things people tweet me about (LOL KRYTON!) Not a single fucking tweet about this.
I didn’t get time to watch it before it fucked off either because the WiFi on the train was shit on Friday. so yeah, genuinely pissed off.

I managed to catch a tarantula today *proud face* I’m usually so busy running around that I don’t spot them until it’s too late and they knock me out.

Sylvia (Kangaroo) asked me if I could taken a modern table off her hands. The two options were “sure” and “this seems suspicious…” I went with sure, because I wanted a modern table and she said as an aside (in grey text) “For a second there I thought that wouldn’t work…”
This isn’t the first time she’s done something that seems bit dodgy, what’s the deal? Is she a thief and she’s fencing her stolen goods through me? WTF is going on with this Aussie bint?

    >Does everybody know the Pointless with Craig and Danny was on on Saturday?

NO I FUCKING DIDN’T. Sky+ lost the series link with the break, so after waiting for it to air since the recording in November I flaming well missed it. Grrr.

You have to catch the bees with a net in New Leaf, you can only jump in the water if you’re wearing a wetsuit.

I have caught 3 bees in total, mostly I just get stung and the townsfolk mock me. Bastards.

“Six episodes of 2525, which is said to ‘take its stylistic cue from Little Britain’…”

AAAAAND that’s where I stopped reading.

    >It’s cicada season in Narcisso! Apparently. Which means it’s really annoying outdoors and far preferable to just stay inside all day.

Solution: Have one of your town residents ask you to get one for them. Then the little cunts are nowhere to be found!

Thanks for this Phil, I don’t think I’m ready to set down paths yet, I want to organise the layout a bit more first, but this will be v. helpful :)

    I haven’t met a turnip seller yet.
I’ve been to the fortune teller… I’m not sure what the point of her is yet. I don’t have any of the items she said will bring me luck anyway.
That fox with the dodgy paintings has visited once.
The badge man seems to be in my village every other day. I think he’s stalking me.
I wished on a star though and got a fancy bed.
I accidentally sent Gulliver to the wrong place, but he sent me a gift anyway. Nice fella!
Scoot (duck with underpants on his head) told me he was going to leave and I told him not to so he decided to stay. I wish I’d let him go, he’s annoying.
I left my town open and left my 3DS on the side at weekend, when I returned I was surrounded by items. I was very confused until I saw Ridley running at me bearing more gifts. Thanks Ridley!
